| WARNING: SPOILERS WITHINCan't wait to see this rather intriguing and epic two-parter conclude! My reckoning is that the Spaceman/Little Girl is River Song since another member on the forum mentioned the fact that.... - Spoiler:
After she is shot she regenerates.
Not only that but River said to Rory in the tunnels in TIA that she would meet the Doctor for the first time soon, she was a little girl when it happened AND she did indeed kill a man... The Spaceman killed the Doctor. But the spoiler I mentioned strongly suggests that she is indeed River, too. River must be a *cough cough*. Its so obvious!

the spaceman who shot the doctor is really the doctor, while the doctor that he shot is a clone, and had to be killed. |

River says that a Time Lord's body is a miracle, and many would kill just to get a cell. So what if they did and manage to find a way to make a clone? (Maybe they hit into regeneration energy?) |

She said she'd meet the Doctor for the first time soon and she was a little girl when it happened and the Spaceman is indeed a little girl! It MUST be River Song! |

* The Doctor gets told to put up some shelves * We only went to the Moon because of the Silence * The Doctor is fond of River’s dark side * Two of the main characters get shot * Nixon does not agree with who Canton wants to marry * Should there be a part left over from the rocket? * Could the Silence have destroyed themselves? * Where does Amy go? * Just who is Amy declaring feelings for? * A cloaked TARDIS, again? * The Silence are angry… * The Doctor is a big flirt! * Amy is not pregnant? * Only one question really gets answered * Another regeneration scene…

| Poll is up - I voted 'Okay/Average' Wasn't too bad but suffered the two parter effect of not being as good as its first part. I'm also confused about Amy's pregnancy? - Spoiler:
And the regeneration of the little girl was weird, I reckon its River.

| I voted 50/50 -- again, this episode failed to excite me. It wasn't terrible, and I can imagine a certain kind of viewer being excited by the kinds of tricks pulled in this episode (and the last one, for that matter), but mostly I was just kinda bored. Mostly.
Nice dialogue at times, though. |

| Holy crap. What an episode. I will admit that the "solution" to The Silence was a tad confusing to me and I'm still not really sure what happened exactly… However, it was still a great 2 parter with tons of twists and turns. And: - Spoiler:
The girl regenerating?! WHAT THE HECK?! My jaw hit the floor when this happened. Where are these theories about River being the girl coming from? River, a Time Lord? I'm not sure it makes much sense. Why would she be dreading her "end" when she would just regenerate?

I think the child is Susan. And the Doctor needs to rescue her and give her to his 1st self. Sure would change everything we ever knew about the series from Day 1
I enjoyed the episode. I did go by really fast, I was not bored! More discussion after more see it. |

I really don't know......why are we thinking it's someone we've met already? and am I the only one who finds this "clifffhanger" rather anti-climactic? Is it really as 'game-changing' as it's been made out to be? |

and am I the only one who finds this "clifffhanger" rather anti-climactic? Is it really as 'game-changing' as it's been made out to be? That is why I think River is too obvious. Who remembers the other person, besides us old farts. I think the game-changing is yet to come. This whole season could be that. |

| Really enjoyed this episode. The way The Doctor used The Silence' own trick against them was quite clever.
But can I just say...
Eye Patch Lady (played by Frances Barber) : "No, I think she's just dreaming"
Me : WTH? |

She isn't dreading her end, she never said that. She said in The Impossible Astronaut that she wasn't dreading neither hers or the Doctors deaths and that there was in fact a much worse day coming, and that day is when the Doctor doesn't remember her. |
