| Parts of it are in America. There should be Americans in the American parts. |

7 more years Hope it works out according to plan... I find that seriously hard to believe. I mean, even the most successful shows get picked up for only a couple more seasons, then possibly picked up again a couple years later. |

| There's no way that a station would agree to a 7-year run of a show (even before a show has aired) when it's been re-tooled on our side from the Brit version. Two years maybe but beyond that... |

| Just found this info: (Includes episodes titles) - Spoiler:
One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging -- they get hurt and sick -- but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight.
With all the extra people, resources are finite. It’s said that in four month's time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can’t be a natural event – someone’s got to be behind it. It’s a race against time as C.I.A. agent Rex Matheson investigates a global conspiracy. The answers lie within an old, secret British institute. As Rex keeps asking “What is Torchwood?", he’s drawn into a world of adventure, and a threat to change what it means to be human, forever
1. The New World 2. Rendition 3. Dead of Night 4. Escape to L.A. 5. The Categories Of Life 6. The Middle Men 7. Immortal Sins 8. End Of The Road 9. The Gathering 10. The Blood Line

Great series. Love it more than New Who. Season 1 was good. 2 was better, and 3 was just off the charts. But, you do have to know what you are getting into. There are lots of negative reviews on it on amazon, netflix, etc... and a lot of that stems from people having the wrong expectations and not looking into it first. It is a show targeted for adults. It's not a DW clone or spinoff that is fluffy family fun. Even some people that watched New Who did not catch the inferences in Empty Child/ Doc Dances that Captain Jack is bi (or should that be omni in Jacks case) sexual. So here you have a series targeted for adults, with an omnisexual main character, played by a gay actor, and the series creator and show runner is also gay. This is not the show to watch if you are a homophobe It is also a very realistic and dark series. Characters have flaws. They make mistakes. Sometimes really bad ones. Sometimes they make morally questionable choices. There are rarely any perfect 'happy' endings. Characters die, including main cast members. I've been listening to the commentaries for the first time, and the actors, writers, and production staff all say the same thing- we can do stuff in Torchwood we can't in DW, because this is a more adult and realistic show. |

| If Children of Earth was any indication of what can be done with this show, I can't wait to see what they can do on STARZ! |
