Rogue One trailer will be debuting on tomorrow's Good Morning America.

the fact that this movie has no false preconceptions (ie. Han, Luke & Leia), there's a pretty good chance that it'll be pretty good. Even with Forest Whitaker ( )...

I'll be curious to see if a CG Peter Cushing makes an appearance...

I got the "Titan Hero Series" type 12" droid figure set from Target and picked up Chewbacca too, for good measure.

They're simple figures, but solid and pretty cool all on their own anyhow.

Love 'em.

After MONTHS of delays, the Hot Toys Princess Leia finally arrived!  

I went to the Disney Store and they had the big 14" talking SW figures on sale for only $20 each!!

I have the ones from the original trilogy, but I hadn't planned on getting the TFA ones...but at that price, I couldn't pass them up.  I didn't get the Chewie one, because they made one before.



I'm really glad I got them after all...they're pretty neat.

I got the 10 1/2 " Talking R2-D2 figure from the Disney Store thinking he'd go great with the Toys R Us Interactive C-3PO...

...and I was right!!!

Ahhh, exciting times indeed!! The half a second back shot of Vader was a little disappointing though, I was expecting a little more, which is why I waited up all night for it... Nonetheless though, can't wait for this movie.

Whereas Cruel Angel purchased the Hot Toys Darth Vader from A New Hope, I opted for the Sideshow one from Return of the Jedi.  

I prefer the super glossy helmet and the undercloak being underneath the shoulder armor.


The lights on the chest and belt boxes look great too.  Sorry they don't show up too well in the pic...

Overall, despite not having the light up light saber like the Hot Toys version, I really love the Sideshow one.

The Disney Store has these new Star Wars Elite Series Premium figures, which are basically 10" scale figures with 30 points of articulation, fabric costumes and interchangeable hands with accessories.

Better than the Hero Series from Mattel, but not as finely detailed as Hot Toys.  Still, if you can't afford Hot Toys, its a very nice substitute.  

They have Rey and Kylo Ren available now, with Princess Leia and Darth Vader coming out the end of the month.  More to follow, I'm sure...

I just got back from the second time seeing Rouge One. I did not go to an Imax showing this time. It was odd, but it seemed darker. as in not as bright. And it made certain CGI characters look a whole lot more realistic, if you know to whom I refer.

But it still was a kick ass ride, especially in the last half. Time to watch New Hope.
