| I picked this up yesterday...its a 1/4 scale Interactive C-3PO from Toys R Us... He talks and his arms and head move as part of both the "try me" and interactive modes, his eyes light up, and in another mode he even "walks" (more like "scurries" because he has little wheels on the bottom of his feet ) , plus he is additionally poseable on his own in the biceps, elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles. He's really fantastic... here's a size comparison with the Lego Threepio... (can you tell I love Threepio..?) |

The one from TRU? No. Threepio is about 16" tall, and their Artoo is about that too, I believe, when he stands straight up. Actually both Artoo and Yoda are out of scale with the others (Threepio, Vader, Stormtrooper, Kylo, Chewie)...but they may be to scale with each other (Yoda and R2)... |

| My Hot Toys Luke (New Hope Version) arrived today! To quote a certain Sith Lord, "Impressive, most impressive!" Here's a pic showing off some of the neat stuff he comes with. And his Lightsaber lights up! |

Still got about 1-2 week wait for mine. Sigh. So looking forward to this figure. Obi Wan and 3PO should also get here sometime later on in January. I know Vader is already in route and should get here Saturday or Monday |

| Love those Luke pics! My Flexpay doesn't get paid off until February! I could probably ask to pay it off early but maybe it's better to wait. |

| Saw it,kinda liked it,but the more I think about it the more I don't like it.
Some good characters but a pretty bad storyline as a poor rehash of ANH.
Finn and Rey were good, but man what the heck Abrams just keeps missing the mark on all my favorite sci projects.Might as well let him do a Doctor Who movie for the Hat Trick. |

| The Max Von Sydow throw away was worse than Phasma's imo.
Horrible plot. |

| That was also lame, but I had forgotten he was going to be in the movie after the original table read photo. The marketing gave the impression that Phasma wouldn't be utterly pointless though. I would've preferred her to be the Sith instead of Kylo Ren. |

| I managed to resurrect my old interactive R2-D2 after a battery leak! Nothing got past his battery compartment and I got the spring cleaned. I am glad to have my droid back so I can talk to him and chase the cat. Plus, a replacement would cost a lot! Amazon lists them for almost $1000! The voice recognition still works great |

| More droid goodies for me... I got the Bandai kits of C-3PO, R2-D2, and R5-D4 from a seller in Japan who built them for me...and they're awesome! I wanted a Threepio to go with my 6" Black Series figures, and this guy fits the bill. I had read a common complaint when the Black Series R2 came out that he was too small, and now you can see, compared to the Bandai model, that he really is. Artoo's middle leg is retractable and he comes with several attachments. Threepio has an alternate faceplate with a dent in his head, an alternate chest plate with restraining bolt, and arms that do NOT bend in the elbow. I opted for the poseable elbows. The only thing about Artoo that I don't really like is that the panels on the top of his dome fall off easily if he's moved or jarred and certainly if he's inverted. There are really cool. Glad I got them. |
