Ronpur, I went old-school and watched it in 2-D, I also noticed it being dark, but was fine with that.

I have been watching season 2 of Rebels. They had an episode that took the to Geonosis. The Geonosians were all dead and there was evidence of a massive construction taking place in orbit. Obviously, the Death Star as build there and the race exterminated to hide that fact.

I just got back from the second time seeing Rouge One. I did not go to an Imax showing this time. It was odd, but it seemed darker. as in not as bright. And it made certain CGI characters look a whole lot more realistic, if you know to whom I refer.
But it still was a kick ass ride, especially in the last half. Time to watch New Hope.
"Rouge One"?
Are you referring to this?

Today I got the Princess Leia Star Wars Elite Series Premium figure from the Disney Store and I love her just as much...if not maybe a little more than...the Rey one.
She comes with an Imperial blaster...
...and her own long barreled blaster...
...and I thought the likeness is pretty darn good, too (although the picture may not show it as much as in person)

The hair's a bit rough but I really see Carrie fisher in that face (the Carrie Fisher on Graham Norton face)!

I got the Star Wars Elite Series Premium Darth Vader today from the Disney Store.
He's awesome!
The cape is a heavier material than the inner cloak, and the suit underneath it all is a leather-like material and not just molded plastic.
He comes with another set of hands and both an engaged light saber and just a hilt you can hang on his belt.
Here he is with both.
These have all been really great so far. I'm glad I got them.

I got two more Disney Store Star Wars Elite Series Premium figures today on sale...
...the Imperial Death Trooper and Director Orson Krennic.
...the Krennic is particularly amazing looking.

Ok...now I have them all.
Here's the SW Elite Series Premium Jyn Erso figure from the Disney Store...
The "knight stick" is telescopic, so it can be closed up and the side handle can be folded in...
she also comes with the add-ons for her pistol...
the likeness to Felicity is ok...
Glad I have them all now. These are really very nice.

I really want to get the 40th Anniversary 6" Black figures. The "original 12". It bugs me though that I'd be buying 6 that have already been released. Two of which have been tweaked. And of course having to pay more than double for Vader cuz we're forced to buy a display we may not want (and I don't).
And of course it's hard to track them all down at retail prices.
And then there's the R5-D4 exclusive...
rant over...

I picked up the 40th Anniversary 3.75" diecast Princess Leia figure...just to give one of these a try, and I like her very much. Still undecided on any of the others.

I broke down and picked up the 40th Anniversary 6" Luke, Leia, Ben and Vader and pre-ordered C-3PO, Death Squad Commander, Stormtrooper, Chewie, Jawa and Sandman.
I now need to find Han & R2.
And maybe R5-D4...

New in the line of Elite die cast figures from the Disney Store is this set for the 40th Anniversary...available in store and online...
they're pretty sweet...now hopefully they'll do proper ones for Luke and Han, too.
