| After Mina mentions that she saw Lucy at night, and that she was the mysterious 'woman in white' that was preying on neighborhood children, Lucy is never mentioned again. The focus is only on protecting Mina. Van Helsing and the Scooby Gang never go after Lucy. So if you only go on what was shown in the movie, Lucy is still 'alive' and well Can just see Harker and Mina thinking they had the happy ending, then Lucy shows up at their place "Forget about poor, little Lucy, did you?" And here come the siblings, kiddies... Dracula's Daughter (1936) |

| I always enjoy that one. The Countess is a very reluctant vampire, who only wants to be free of the curse. She might have had a real chance if it wasn't for her manservant, who keeps pushing her towards the dark side. Why she didn't fire him I have no idea. Love the character of the secretary, who works for the psychiatrist that Van Helsing enlists in his defense (since he is up on murder charges for killing Dracula). She is extremely fiesty and doesn't take any junk from her boss, very atypical for the 30s woman. Reminds me a lot of Donna And to finish off the night, kiddies... the other sibling. Son of Dracula (1943) |

Yuppers... But I have to admit, the film that always pops in my mind when you see his "Crazy, am I?" and "It's alive!" clips is Weird Science |

| Very jealous of you having the whole collection to watch, I only get to see them on Svengoolie. And then he does the usual jokey thing with them. This week had Batman the 1966 movie on, UGH! I do hope they show the two Peter Cushing Doctor Who films, he has made lots of references to the show in the past. |

| Whoosier, did you remember to have your Bat Shark Repellant handy? Did the dolphin scene make you cry? Such great memories for me are brought up by Adam West's Batman. |

10/12: Land of the Dead
10/13: The Mist
10/14: Night Watch
10/15: One Missed Call (Even the worst Miike ain't that bad.) Does Night Watch refer to the Russian supernatural film, or the Ewan MacGregor murder mystery? |

That was the only good thing for me about Van Helsing... that they put out all the Legacy monster dvd sets as marketing tie ins. The good: love the packaging, and of course getting all the movies for each monster in one shot. The bad: the stupid, cheapy double sided disc that makes up the 2nd disc. It's a toss up if all the movies on each side will play or not. My Frank set will all play properly. However, not so for Drac and Mummy. The 2nd movie on each side freezes up towards the end. I just went out and got used single copies of the ones that give me trouble. I almost did catch Batman. Lee Meriwether is doing a show towards the end of this month, and I'm getting her to sign a Catwoman pic for me |

| Too bad Morrison didn't have the right sense of priorities. As soon as he knocked down Junk and grabbed the coat rack, he should have smacked him in the head, then attack Vinnie instead of trying to free his wife. He knew Vinnie was armed... oh well. |
