Horror Fest 2012- Post your horror viewings here!!!

It's that time... here comes October and Halloween

I'm hoping to do the whole 'one per day' thing, if I hopefully have enough time to fit them in. I mostly want to do ones I either haven't seen in a while or just haven't seen yet.

Im doing a few that I haven't watched in a while, but most are going to be my tried and true horror staples.

I could fit more in if it wasn't that the weekend before Halloween won't be available like it usually is. This year instead of November, Austin Comic Con will be held that weekend. My friend can't go with me on Sat, so I'll be going both days so I can take him there. Will be his first ever convention he's gone to.

Can't wait for the Universal Horror set to arrive.

They showed The Bride of Frankenstein today, my fave and in my opinion the best of the Frankenstein films.

Thinking about watching White Zombie starring Bela Lagosi. I've been hearing good things about it for years, but I've never bothered viewing it. It comes in a 15 pack of other old Horror films such as The House on Haunted Hill, Night of the Living Dead, Dementia 13...

It's been a while, but Coop and I recall liking it when we watched it on Netflix

I would like to see someone remake the Frankenstein films but use a long term plan and have the stories linked up with the same crew for all of them.

I will probably watch The House That Dripped Blood next weekend.

Doing a one a day with an alphabetical theme because I couldn't come up with a theme I haven't used before. Today's selection was the 1974 possession flick Abby.

Neat idea. I don't think I could pull that one off though without skipping some letters.

My themes pretty much stay constant. I just try to throw in some variability alongside my mainstay choices within the themes so I'm not watching the exact same lineup every year.

Usually I go with vampires, werewolves, zombies, anthology, occult, ghost/ haunted house, and some crossovers- like horror/sci fi, horror comedy, etc.

And I always watch all the Universal monster films.

Last year I really changed it up and did mostly horror tv. This time around, just films.

I have Cabin in the Woods arriving from Netflix tomorrow. Might also check out Paranormal Activity 4 when it comes out.

Starting the month tonight with one I love and haven't seen in a while...

I just saw Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. It was great.

I just started watching Dr Who - State Of Decay.

I plan on watching the first Alien movie and then
the 2 "The Thing" movies. I actually liked the new one and how
it fits like a puzzle piece into John Carpenter's version.
So, that's like watching one huge movie!!
