New TARDIS design!

Maybe it is the lab we heard about but have never seen??

I wish the designs were engraved too, but it's easy to pick apart one little section when that's all you can see!

When we see the full room it might not be so noticeable. Here's another sneak peek courtesy of DWM's Facebook. I have to say, I'm kind of digging the change of pace here overall.

We are indeed. And they've completely shucked the Cybus aesthetic.

As for the new peek...I am liking this with some reservation. I liked the golden interior of the previous TARDIS Console room, so I'm sad to see it go away for flat grey.

Yep, there's certainly shades of 'Trek' in this 2nd pic. Seriously i prefer it but i really think the 'Unearthly Child' set up is the best look. It steals the 'bigger inside' image and it's totally unique to any spaceship interior of sci fi related. The brightly lit interior is the other reason to why i loved it.
Mind you the 60s Enterprise and the Hartnell 'Edge Of Destruction' Tardis console had the same sound effect, when they started their build up power, so that's a cool thing.

Ok this is flying around the web as the new TARDIS console for the Christmas special - here is what is being said about it -

"this was sent to me by someone who works in cardiff he said its the real one that will be used at xmas"

Is that an early CGI concept render? I just wondered because if it's the TARDIS being used in the special, the details at the top don't match.

I have ni idea, I'm taking it with a pinch of salt, it dose look at a concept image.... I like it though except the dump view master or whatever it is....

The fireworks clip, dude. It gives one the impression of a 'party lover' Tardis console, especially with the photo of the funny half naked Dr ? at the controls.
True fact = Did you know Jon Pertwee used to go to 'ravers' in the early 90s in his 'Who' gear!
(So naturally the lonesome console probably went clubbing too, lol)

Let's hope the Cybermen actually look like Cybermen this time, and not Ironman wannabes we've been stuck with for the past 6 years.

There are pictures of them on the 'net they look ok to me, I would prefer a slightly more different design, but I am ok with them.

Eh? I'm not seeing how they could be considered effeminate. They're sleeker, but to me that just make it more evocative of earlier designs.

darn, I wish I had the build of those "effeminate" Cybermen. Effeminate like a linebacker...
