Obviously, He's my guy. I love the action adventure aspect of this Doctor. Plus, he's one of the few that is a pure scientist. The exile kinda cramped his style, but sometimes we silly humans need him to get us out of a pickle. I think it did him some good, too.

I think he became more human during his exile. He learned to care for Jo, as he would for Sarah later on. The first appearance of the Master and our first glimpse of the Timelords. Not to mention Omega. It was a grand era, and if it had not been a success, we may have lost Doctor Who after the falling ratings of the final Troughton era. Pertwee and his Doctor enjoyed great popularity, forshadowing the modern series.

Jon was a brilliant actor, and is interpretation of the Doctor was superb, I chose the Daemons as my favourite, but thats only because the option to choose them all wasn't there.

Pick one Pertwee story? Oh boy...

After 10 minutes of pondering, I can't pick one. I voted for The Time Warrior, simply because that's my favourite at this moment out of the choices given. Pertwee's in fine form, we meet Sarah Jane and the Sontarans for the first time, and it has Irongron, one of my favourite supporting characters.

But The Three Doctors is also one of my favourites. Troughton is my second favourite Doctor (and the margin is incredibly close) and seeing him and Pertwee together is awesome. I remember the first time I watched The Five Doctors, all I wanted to see was Pertwee & Pat do a scene together. I wish we could of had more of them - they played off of each other brilliantly.

I think what I love the most about his Doctor is the scientist aspect. It made him more believable. It's a shame that part of his character has been neglected in later incarnations. I loved his little experiments he was always doing in his lab, and the gadgets he often built. As a child this both fascinated and inspired me.

I also enjoyed the seriousness of his character. He rarely, if ever, played the fool. He commanded respect, and if you didn't show him it, you'd get a tongue-lashing, no matter what position of authority you were in!

I hope one day we get an actor to play The Doctor who takes his influences from Jon. There's so much there that hasn't been emulated by future Doctors.

I had a hard time picking 9 for the poll. Believe me! I didn't even include my favorite, Ambassadors of Death! I just picked what seems to be the most popular, widely appreciated ones. Still, like Doctor Detroit suggested, I guess I could have picked "all of them" as a selection. That's how I'd go, too!

Tough choice between The Daemons and Day of the Daleks, but I went with The Daemons.

How were the audio plays The Paradise of Death and The Ghosts of N-Space? I've always wanted to check those out.

Paradise is better than Ghosts, IMO, but both at least have Jon, Nick, and Lis - which is awesome enough for me!

No one deserves a "bump" more than Pertwee!!!!
