Who is the Rani?

On IMDb sometime back, people were going over is "_____ is the Rani," and someone suggested a wiki site be made for all these wacky Rani theories. Someone agreed.

Thanks for the hilarious links, Jared! I liked your Jackie = Rani page. The Michele Bachmann one was really funny as well. Also note that how the Rani was prone to spouting nonsensical, confounding statements such as "Pickled in time, like gherkins in a jar!" and "I HAVE ACHIEVED... LOYHARGIL!", Bachmann also says things like "Lady Liberty and Sarah Palin are lit by the same torch."

But I think that Rani Chandra from "The Sarah Jane Adventures" is the Rani because... well, her name is, you know...

What's next, "The Doctor is really SpongeBob and the TARDIS is a Spineapple that crashed to Earth 65 billion years ago and so he developed gills and lived under the sea for the rest of eternity. Then he regenerated into Barney the dinosaur, and what fun he had then..."

The Rani hiding out on Earth as a girl named Rani would sort of be like Dr. Fendleman in "Image of the Fendahl"! Or like Obi-Wan's mind-boggling thought process that went into hiding Luke: "So I have to hide this kid in a way that his father will never find him... I know! I'll leave Luke with his father's stepbrother! And I won't change his name, either -- he'll be known to all as Luke Skywalker. That should do it!"

Yeah, they really didn't catch on to the 'hiding in plain sight' thing meaning you aren't supposed to call attention to the hiding place
