t Kate O'Mara who played the Renegade Time lady in Mark of the Rani (1985), Time and the Rani in 1987 and the again in the Children In Need Special Dimensions in Time in 1993 has passed away.

Oh, NO. Horrible news, indeed! I just met Kate last October at the Chiller Theatre convention; she was very nice and I was happy to add her autograph to my "Doctor Who: A Celebration" book. God bless and RIP, Kate.

Yes, that is sad news. She brought such credibility to the role.

They just mentioned her on ABC World News, of course Dynasty got the mention first but they also talked about here appearance on Doctor Who along with a shot from Mark of the Rani.

I was just reading her obit on CNN.com, and it is headlined "Dynasty and Doctor Who Actress"
Wow, the world is changing around us when an actor's appearance in Doctor Who make the headlines on CNN.
Most of the time, when an actor passes, their contribution to the show were forgotten except by us fans, now the world notices when you were in Doctor Who.
I just met Kate last October at the Chiller Theatre convention; she was very nice and I was happy to add her autograph to my "Doctor Who: A Celebration" book. God bless and RIP, Kate.
