Duck Pond

Sequence, NOT a BLOOPER

Amy and the Doctor are walking pass the parking lot. Rosy's car is parked at the end.

Doctor collapses at the edge of the duck pond. "This is too soon. I'm not done".

Car pulls in front of Rory's car.

Amy neck ties the Doctor. Rory's car is visible.

Both look at apple.

A blue light appears. This when I think the Doctor "borrows" Rory's car.

Camera become a wide view. Spot is empty.

Dialog.

Ship appears in the sky.

Rory's car turns up in front of a white building.

First Guess: The duck pond, where there is never any ducks, is a big Silence mental suggestion area. Position of Rory's car was written as a new memory into Rory and Amy.

Another guess: The Doctor was able to connect the post hypnotic suggestion of the Silence, the control signal of the flesh and transmission of psychic message to broadcast the position of Rory's car. One of those wibbly, wobbly, timey, wimey event.

Time can be rewritten.

Oh. My bad. I thought this was a thread for naming Amy and Rory's next kid.

If you are talking about the Duck Pond in the 11th Hour, I think you are reading too much into it. Everything in Series 5 is self contained (much like the voice at the end that still hasn't been explained).

The Doctor "What's that?"
Amy "The Duck Pond"
The Doctor "How can it be a Duck pond without any Ducks?"
Amy "I don't know, it just is"

After the ending of Series 5, I took that to be one of Moffat's subtle hints about the cracks in the Universe. Just like the crack had swallowed Amy's Parents up, but left her and her Aunt, the cracks took away the Ducks, but left the pond, thus leaving an error that the Doctor would notice (much like he noticed Amy not remembering the Daleks in Victory of the Daleks).

Just my thoughts.
