| Any fans of this one? Care to discuss the greatness of the show, the recent resurgence in the comic books and other great things about it? |

| It has been a long time since I had seen Darkwing Duck, but I loved watching it when it was on TV. Such a good show. |

| I loved Darkwing Duck...what a hilarious send-up of all those "masked avenger" stylistic tropes. I also loved that his level of competency was always rather questionable, which made for good entertainment.
There was a video game made for the NES while the show was still on-air. While it was a standard side-scrolling adventure game of the time, the atmosphere of the game somehow emulated that of the show fairly well! I never did finish it, though; it was a rental. |

| Let's not be nasty Hoosier. Loved the video game. though the final boss was a bit hard. Favorite villians: Megavolt, Taurus Bulba (especially in Steerminator), and the rest of the fearsome five. Best goodies: Darkwing himself, Launchpad, Morgana, and Gizmo duck. It's just a shame that they ended the series early. They had more episodes planned, but disney pulled the plug. . . |

~ LOL both of those quotes are great. *sigh* How I miss such good classic television cartoons. It's a shame it's all CG stuff with very little "meat" to the episodes. |

| Coolest thing about "Tail Spin"? Shere [sic] Khan, specifically, the dulcet tones of his voice. When I first heard him, I wondered, "Merciful Mogg! Did they dig up grave of George Sander and reanimate his body to reprise his role from 'The Jungle Book'?!" The credits sped by so fast I could never catch who played him. Later, I was told Tony Jay, whom I first remember as the Master-like villain from "Beauty and the Beast" (the CBS series with Ron Perlman), had landed the part. D@mn, I loved his voice!!! Now, he's gone, too.
Sincerely,
Bill |

Just read the second issue, loving it. Quakerjack is off the wall! What has twisted him so bad, I can only guess and can't wait to find out. He's really gone hardcore. . . And Darkwing is getting back into it! Yeehaw! |

| DW was Disney's last good series, before they began their cookie cutter syndrome the following year with Goof Troop, Quack Pack, and so on. |
