| I just read a review by a chap who says he really hates Moffat's writing... and he loved this episode. I'm very hopeful I'll be saying the same thing in a few weeks. Some spoilers/teasers for the episode - - Spoiler:
-TARDIS. Hijacked. At gunpoint. Seriously, Moffat must have written this well before the London riots, but somehow he’s pre-empted the general lawlessness of the last few weeks for this episode. -How many former companions make an appearance in this episode? 3. You’ll have to work out who for yourself…
- A "Hand of Fear" reference! -Rory arguably gets the best line of the entire episode. -We’re introduced to a childhood friend of Amy’s. -More doppelganger madness, but less of the flesh creations and more inspired by "The Numskulls" from the old Beano comics. Oh, and some seriously cool special effects. -River Song isn’t the only one who has to go to increasingly desperate lengths to get The Doctor’s attention. When he refuses to answer his phone, Amy and Rory have to get inventive… -Expect to see some of the most polite killer robots in the history of sci-fi.

-River Song isn’t the only one who has to go to increasingly desperate lengths to get The Doctor’s attention. When he refuses to answer his phone, Amy and Rory have to get inventive… Well, she had to get it from somewhere. According to a report I read, they make crop circles.

Former companions will be present during the new episode, huh? Couldn't it be possible that we may get one from the classic series like Jo Grant? I know, wishful thinking but who knows? |

| Since she was brought into SJA, the younger ones who aren't familiar with classics might remember her... So that could work actually. Though I assume that Moffat is keeping all the classic stuff for the 50th anniversary. |

| All this talk of classic stuff is making my heart ache once more for Nicholas Courtney and Elisabeth Sladen. I know it has already been said, but the anniversary will not be the same without them. |

Everything has its time and everything ends. I thought Sarah Jane left the TARDIS well enough in Journey's End, with Death of the Doctor being mere gravy. Indeed, if anything it opens the door well and proper for Jo to step into Sarah Jane's shoes for the 50th Anniversary, much like Benton stepped in for Jamie in The Three Doctors. I will miss the potential for an interaction with Nicholas Courtney. They could always recast a new Brigadier but I doubt it would be the same. That said, his wonderful "interview" about Liberty Hall in full character is a nice epilogue for his character. I just hope they manage to work in Benton and Jamie. |

| I would love to see Benton and Jo again, on Who proper. As for recasting the Brigadier, It would work if they found a young Lt. Lethbridge-Stewart during Let's Kill Hitler!! |

I for one, after reading endless info about this episode, have NO idea how they have fit THIS much into a 45-minute episode. It seems like it's packed with enough for 2 or 3 episodes! |

1. Love the Star Trek thing going on there. 2. At first, I thought Rory said, "trapped inside the giant robot rectum of my wife."
