Good idea! There's one HERE that's just over 6 inches tall, so it might be close.

I had a John Simms Master head that I removed the hair and eyebrows from that looked a little like that picture.

Which is what I posted just below the original post. But I just saw a Prof. X figure that was fairly close to Who scale. I think it was from the first X-men movie, but it does not look like Patrick Stewart.

Sorry Ronpur, I completely overlooked your post; however, the Luthor that rdks linked to may work; or even the 5.5 inch Superman Returns Luthor (even though the ones I've seen look weird). The prof. X figure is a good idea as well.

11th hour burnt sonic screwdriver

I have a mini 9th doc screwdriver for a five inch figure. Was wondering what colors could I color it to make it burnt like? Smile

Some wip pics. Ffinch from The Highlanders still needs some costume details. The sculpting on the other guy is done I think.

Anyone have any good pictures of Astrid Ferrier or Salamander (Troughton) from The Enemy of the World? Really looking for Astrid in her helmeted look (is it the same costume from the surviving episode?) and Salamander from the waist down. Don't know if he has his pants tucked into his boots or out. Thanks.

And indeed Salamander does have his pants tucked in his boots, as you'll see from this photo taken from the final scenes of the story.

Thanks alot MasterKhan. These will help alot. Very Happy Had a feeling he had his pants tucked in his boots, but didn't want to make the figure incorrect. Starting these two along with Zoe and the Master from The Mind Robber this weekend. Really appreciate the help.

PostSubject: Re: Custom Tutorial Thread   Custom Tutorial Thread - Page 15 EmptyTue Oct 23, 2012 7:31 am

Hey guys, does anyone know if there's an action figure of Arthur Weasley (aka Brian Williams) from Harry Potter? I'd love to have a figure of Brian. It would be easier, too, if there's already an action figure of him from the Potter films.

If there isn't, does anyone know if there's any other figures that look like Brian that I could use?

Thanks in advance. bounce

There is no Arthur Weasley figure.

I searched for "Arthur Weasley custom figure" and found a few, but they were all either Lego or 12". The two 12" figures I found both had heads that reminded me of Bracewell.

I think your best bet would be to look through the existing Who figures (and those that are compatible) and pick a head that's close enough for you to be happy with it.

I'll keep an eye out next time I check through compatible lines.

I'm assuming it's a good thing to sand over the areas a bit you're going to paint when painting Daleks?

The hard plastic part? I would just wash it with warm soap and water to make sure it is clean so the paint sticks better. It should be just fine. You can primer if you want, especially if it it a light color going over a dark color.

A couple of quick questions, does Captain Jack's arms fit into series 6 11, how do I take the arms off without cracking open the body, and how can I take off 11's jacket without damaging the torso? Thanks for any help you give me.

I've been thinking about possibly customizing one of my two planet supremes, and the one I would customize has one screw on it's base that is, well, "screwed" enough so that it won't turn. Is there any tool that any of you here would suggest for unscrewing this screwed screw?

Is the head stripped? Or will the driver still fit the crosses? You may try to get the edge of a hobby knife under it and pry it out.....very carefully!
