You hear it here first (or worst): Eric Roberts is in for Roger Corman's upcoming, unabashededly B-grade SyFy original movie SHARKTOPUS.

You gotta love Roberts. He's kinda like Bruce Boxleitner and Bruce Campbell - unafraid to follow the money right down typecasting street. As much cheese as his name has toplined, you have to admire someone who's going to take a job even if it ain't high art.

Sources report that he will dress, naturally, for the occasion.

EDIT: I do realize, of course, that "unabashedly B-grade SyFy original movie" is a huge redundancy.

He is, and I loved the other Bruce as well, especially in Babylon 5.

Babylon 5 was a great show. I was so glad that the story arc was able to be completed especially when it was cancelled at one point.

Boxleitner shows up, if only briefly, in Tron Legacy later this year, reprising his role from the original.
