October B&M sets - a mixed bag

I’ve been seeing pics in Facebook groups and online reviews…. Figures have been hitting the shops in the UK.

Apparently one of the “Planet of the Daleks” Daleks has a hinged dome.  You can flip it open and see a Kaled mutant (just a sticker, but still cool)!

Can't wait for WhoNA to get these sets in. Maybe not until after Christmas, but we can always hope!

If there is anyone that doesn't need the Cyberman from the Five Doctors set, feel free to let me know, I have stuff to trade!

I managed to get all the Earthshock sets for those of you who asked for them today but no other sets in sight: the hunt begins...

The B+M gods were smiling upon me today: I had to take my daughter to a party which was right next to my favourite store...
Got TARDIS sets for everyone who asked for one. Still not seen a dalek...

Managed to get everyone's 5 Doctors sets and Evil of the Daleks sets today. Planet of Daleks sets are proving a tough challenge thus far!

Been shipping out a lot of toys... should be arriving soon to many of you.

The toys are here!  And somehow you've managed to get the toys to me faster than a lot of shops in the UK are getting them on the shelves.  Hopefully the Giant K-1 Robot will be along in January.

You will note these do NOT have the B&M sticker barcode on them.

We were able to get these BEFORE B&M opened the cases and stickered them.

The good news is that you are finally able to get some boxes that are better than what you can get from the UK as a result.

Yup.  It's true...and both of them open up.

Just a sticker.

I would be happy to just get one of them so that I have it represented in my collection. I wasn't able to save up enough money in time for a source in the UK to get me these sets before he ran out of stock, and he received noticed that no more will be coming.

Got Ian on the Companions shelf, but he seems so alone without a Barbara.  CO needs to correct that in 2022.


Meanwhile the Cyber-shelf grows ever more menacing.


The lack of other B+W era monsters means I'm having a tough time finding a place for the Sensorites and Voord.  There is also an Ice Warrior, but he hangs out on the 1970's shelf with other Pertwee villians.

Looks like the B&M "Robot" set is out in the UK.  Hope it makes it over to our shores at some point.

Oh, and by "our shores" I specifically mean WhoNA, since I can't imagine buying it anywhere else.

Do I really need a second K-1 Robot in my life? Yes, yes I do. Can't wait to see if WhoNA can get these imported.

You can thank me for finally placing a WhoNA order last week. Kept thinking it will take several more weeks for the Robot Set to arrive and didn't want a Big Finish title to sell out before I could grab a copy.

Oh well, at least WhoNA has their very good shipping rate.

Had a comment during checkout, wanted to post this here...

All of the Robots we have seen so far are the magenta head/stripe. We believe this is standard for this set, to distinguish it from the red head/stripe Build-A-Figure Robot released earlier.

Yes, that’s my understanding. It’s supposed to be more accurate.

A friend from here sent me the Cyberleader figure from the Five Doctors set. He is now on the shelf along with my Icthar figure.

That difference is so slight, I cannot tell the difference.

It's nowhere near as red as the Build-a-Figure.
