wasn't this from dragon-con? I loved watching the original footage, and all the little faces he made. I felt like I was a kid again. He still has "IT", and now i can't wait for the Hobbit.

Wish I was there to see him do this. I love that he still rolls the r in his words. I always thought that was way cool

Thank you much. Now I really want to see McCoy come back to the new series. Perhaps the anniversary?

Here's a better quality version of the full video. The whole thing is awesome (love his reaction to 11's sonic) and he really is so entertaining and talented.

Thanks for that, jonwes! Looked like a great time. He is a laugh!
On a related note, does anyone have a link to where McCoy did the "One day I shall come back..." speech from the First Doctor? I tried to find it again and couldn't seem to locate it.

I would love to hear the McCoy version. Every time I hear the Hartnell version I get goosebumps. Definitely one of the best bits of dialogue in DW history for sure.

He,himself, was brilliant with whatever lines he was given. It is just that some of his lines were a little campy, at first anyway. An attempt to make Doctor Who more fun, and not so serious and scary as were the "complaints" being received by the BBC.

He still looks good. I think it would be great if he came back and did a new "Two Doctors" story. They could even bring Ace back for a bit.

Poor fellow didn't have a sonic until the '96 movie, but leaving the stage at D*Con, he carries FOUR!
What a riot! I love when he reveals his Scottish roots by the way he rolls his Rs!
