The 'Astronaut Theory' (SPOILERS)

So me and my friend were talking, and it's rumoured that it's gunna be like this....

River is the one in space suit that kills the Doctor (assumedly she's been manipulated by Kovarian), but then she breaks free from Kovarian and decides to go back in time and kill the Astronaut before she kills the Doctor. But if River kills the Astronaut, herself from the past, then she'll either create a paradox or her future self will cease to exist. So, Rory being the hero he is, decides to get in the space suit in her place and saves his daughter. Thus, River kills Rory ('The good man that she kills' and 'A good man goes to war') whom is in the Astronaut suit.... River lives on with the now saved Doctor along with Amy.

But without Rory..

WITHOUT RORY!


I hope this 'theory' isn't reality, but this is what I've heard. It all makes sense I guess but I don't want Rory to die again, especially if this time is for good.

I REALLY hope Rory doesn't die for good! The guy just wants to have a happy life with his wife! Can't he get that?

i bet money that by the time we get a rory action figure, moffat will have killed him off for good. remember, as far as we know, amy is coming back next season, but i heard nothing about rory.

EDIT: Looks like he was talking about the BFI screening of "Let's Kill Hitler," which is on the 15th. But still, he's not running away from the WHO scene.

I am still thinking the Doctor who is killed was the Ganger, regardless what Canton said. And I am sure that River was the one in the suit who killed him. But,it could be possible that Rory, willing to sacrifice himself to save his daughter would do that. it is so in his character.

Maybe its someone we haven't met yet.

I think that the great man that River kills is her father, Rory. I have posted this in another thread but I forget which one.
