| This episode was amazing. Definitely one of my favorites all time. Especially my favorite Matt Smith episode. 10/10
Oh and i've noticed something. I began watching Who in 2005 during the Reboot and i have never got to watch must of the past. But it seems that every episode or 2 parter ending Rory and Amy mentioning sleeping which is something past companions have never done. Did they before 2005? |

| What an impressive, amazing, first-rate story all around! Had me on the edge of my seat, my little niece's eyes glued to the screen. Matt was at his absolute finest here! And it was so nice seeing coral again, the roundel walls ...just makes me smile |

| An amazing episode. Can't wait for the Junk TARDIS toy! I really loved this. I had high expectations as a Neil Gaiman fan but it lived up to my expectations, thankfully.
I do have to say they need to put a moratorium on Rory "dying" though. |

| I loved the little part at the end where Matt begs the TARDIS spirit in Idris to stay. Matt manages to convey the depths of the Doctor's loneliness - especially after the harsh reveal of the source of the Time Lord Distress Signals - beautifully in that sequence. |

| Wow, wow, wow! So much to absorb, such an awesome episode! So many details, like the Corsair regenerating as a WOMAN sometimes! The TARDIS and her wonderful talks with the Doctor. From almost, what, The Edge of Destruction, we knew the TARDIS was alive, and now we have met her mind, and it was so much fun!
Corridors! The old console room. The Eye of Orion. all these details! Tie to watch it again!!
I wish I had a Tennant console room to attach to my Smith room with corridors! |

I'd definitely rank it as best of the season (thus far, at least).
There was one bit that confused me though.
- Spoiler:
When Auntie touched Amy's face and proclaimed "House Loves You.", Amy pulled back and shook her head like something had happened. It even cut to a reaction shot of the Doctor looking interested. Was that supposed to be the first clue that Auntie's arms weren't the same, or is it some dropped subplot? Maybe even the whole reason House got into Amy's head to begin with.
I thought it was the disgust at her - Spoiler:
Corsair's hand

| This was the best body swap story I've ever seen! Taking the soul of a time machine and putting it into a human body, BRILLIANT.
Should we take it as a slight to a certain FOX show that the entity was named "House?"
Rory "dying" again... PLEASE. YES, we LOVE seeing that Amy loves Rory devotedly, but it's the sixth or seventh time we were led to believe that Rory had died or was dying! The boy is good for more than just dying! Please let him kick some tail! However, I do love that he started using the old TARDIS console. This is one smart bloke!
!!! COULD RORY BE WHO TEACHES RIVER TO FLY THE TARDIS?
LOVE that they used the old TARDIS, but the use of an Ood was a little sad.
Still, the chats between the Doctor and "Idris" were fantastic. |

But it seems that every episode or 2 parter ending Rory and Amy mentioning sleeping which is something past companions have never done. Did they before 2005? In one of the first episode, with Susan and Barbara, they had so weird couch like things they were sleeping on. Nyssa and Adric's bedrooms were shown, and Torlough carried a very scantily clad Peri into a bedroom after she almost drowned and he saved her. So, yes, a few times bedrooms were shown. |

YES! I loved that part! Poor Doctor. I only remember him being so sad like that at times like when Jo left, or Rose was lost and after Donna's tragedy. But this was a great performance by Matt. And he was given the material to show how awesome he is! |

| guys, i loved the nostalgia as much as anyone here (great to see the corral console room, roundels, corridors). however, on a story level, it wasn't gaiman's greatest (i'm not saying it's bad, i just didn't think it was that great).
idris was a great invention, but i guess now we know her and river song are two separate entities. i like how the doctor was actually the hero (apart from idris), in this episode. he practically had to lock amy in the tardis so he could be.
which brings me to a famous line from this show, that really bugged me. rory- "he's a timelord" amy- "that's what they are called, it doesn't mean he knows what he's doing." if that is how amy thinks, no wonder she has to save the day every episode. really hated that line.
so far, this is my favorite episode this series, but that's not saying much. i was so angry after watching the day of the moon, i never even wrote a review of it (would have been too long, and hate filled). i hope moffat takes a cue from this episode and realizes that you can let the cat out of the bag early in an episode, and still have surprises and a good plotline (not everything needs to have twists at the end like an m. night shymalan story).
hoping there are more non moffat episodes this series. last year i enjoyed those the most. however, i notice there is more of the "arc" this year, even in the non-moff episodes. last year it wasn't bad seeing a crack here or there, but being beaten over the head with the reminder that the "doctor" is shot, or amy is "pregnant" is really getting annoying. |

| I honestly think this is one of the best episodes I've ever seen. I think we (including the Doctor) have personified the TARDIS in our minds for as long as we've been watching, and seeing it play out on screen was as magical as I could've hoped.
Suranne Jones was fantastic as the TARDIS and I felt they conveyed the gravitas of such a "character" perfectly. You really felt the connection between the Doctor and her, it was a 700 year old friendship that instantly clicked between the two…perfection. Not to mention the jokes about the Doctor calling her "sexy" only when they're alone, hysterical!
It was an absolutely magical episode that had me grinning ear to ear the entire time.
The only thing that bothered me was Eleven not yet finding more Time Lord brethren. I think it's time we move past the RTD schtick and get some more TLs up in here! Not necessarily a huge amount, just something that can give the Doctor a bit of a cheer up…he deserves it.
Brilliant episode, 10/10.

| Okay, the majority of the online reviews loved this episode. It had a number of good qualities but still, for me, it was just okay. By the end of the eppie, it was say to see 'Sexy' go. At the beginning the character was annoying but she improved as the story moved forward. Once again, they just had to add a Rory death. Enough of that already. I like his character but the weekly deaths are becoming an unnecessary joke. The Ood was close to pointless in appearing in the episode. Not impressed with the TARDIS corridors but loved seeing the old 'coral' theme that was archived. As for the Doctor, there are times when he is just a bit too goofy for me (a mix of the 2nd and 7th). He needs to get toned down since he's all over the place at time. As for the story itself, the hint of what the Doctor wanted back only for it to be destroyed was sad but not surprising. |

I always had that suspicion, too. When Idris also used the phrase, "My Doctor" (as did Rose in "PotW", that cemented my belief. And something I don't think anyone has yet mentioned (unless I overlooked it). The idea of the "junkyard" TARDIS is a bit more believable, than I previously thought. I had assumed before seeing the episode that the Doctor pieces it together from "conventional" scrap. But learning that the random pieces were salvaged from other Gallifreyan time capsules, yeah, I could "buy into that". Sincerely, Bill |

| I just realized one of the reasons I like this story, is the long held fantasy I always have of my cars being alive and having a personality. Ever since my first car, I have felt that, so to have this story of the Doctor's "wheels" come to life, and the love between a Timelord and his Tardis just struck home. I suppose that is why I have always liked Knight Rider and Transformers too! |

Listen to the voices.
I tried to but was just living the episode, he thinks that it may have something important in what is said coming up.
And maybe it wasnt obvious enough for me, but what was it we saw that we hadnt seen since The War Games? |
