Thanks, and Yes, I was, 3 I think. And while their details were all slightly different, they look amazing! It seams military surplus stores are the place to go for him. Which seams very appropriate.

That's true, not one of them looked exactly the same, yet they were each instantly recognizable as WD.

Well, since I doubt I will ever get to meet Tom Baker and get a photo opp and autograph with him, I bought an autographed print from a very reliable source that I won't name here. I liked the print because it has his classic look and the Curator look.



Now, I have to find a frame that matches this silly A4 size paper!

Silly A4? Everything is A4 here. I wasn't aware there were differences in paper size over the pond! You learn something new everyday!

Yep, photos are 8x10 and standard paper is 8.5x11 and legal size is 8.5 x14.
A4 is 8.3x11.7!! Crazy!

Actually the whole world drove on the left hand side until the 1700s when Napoleon came along and changed it because he and the majority of his army were left handed and needed to be on the right so they could sleigh enemies with their swords in their left hand. Then the French colonised you guys and brought over the new custom of driving on the right. So actually you drive on the wrong side. We had it correct the first time and never changed.

Well, Scary, as someone born and raised in America I can tell you that there are some of us who take different views. I know there are plenty of people who will disagree with my religious views altogether, but as a Christian who actually reads the Bible, I see the American revolution as rebellion against God-given authority and that's why, as a nation, we have such a history of violence and oppression.

Actually, I would hope that Whoosier was joking to some degree... you know, that dry, wry British humor we all love so much. Or maybe it's "that time of the month" in Indiana.

Either way, Ronpur, great costume. The detail is outstanding.

I thought they were both joking.....but I still need a frame to match my other photos and autographs!  The only other off sized autograph I have was from Chris Hadfield, a CANADIAN astronaut.  I have no idea what size paper they use, but I assume they drive on the right.

This is a line of American Christian thought that I have not encountered before and I would not mind seeing it discussed in an appropriate thread.

I wondered about that. I was hot in a tshirt and shorts; I figured you had to be melting with that sweater and jacket on. The sacrifices you make for fandom, I guess...

I've seen you before at some of the Time Lord Fests, love the costume! Ronpur, will you be at any other FL cons this year? There's the Tampa Comic Con this weekend, Fanboy Expo, and of course Time Lord Fest in October!

The room they had us in while waiting for the autograph was the worst. I don't think the AC was even on in there.

I made it to the first Time Lord Fest. I hope to make one day of Hurricane Who again, but my schedule is rather busy in the next few months.

I went to Megacon yesterday and we had a great meet up of Doctor Who cosplayers. And I met Karen Gillan.
