13th doctor's costume

Yuck.

Its unflattering an unattractive...for either gender.

Looks like Chris and Jodie are trying to give Colin a run for his money;) this ranks as the 2nd worst costume just slightly behind the 6th doctor's atrocious rainbow nightmare. And remember boys and girls there is no agenda here. rainbow shirt, chick in mens pants and overcoat, left ear pierced... Captain Jack is cool because he is an original. This is a Transition...not the Doctor.

Like the TARDIS though😁

She should have a Seven of Nine catsuit. Apparently that makes proper sense in science fiction. Plus woman. And Equality.

Id this a hoax photo? Because I cannot seriously believe they would be this flippant after all the heat the decision has already garnered.

My thoughts exactly!  I laughed when I first saw the pic.  I was like, no way is this real.

And people have the audacity to say 5's celery and 4's long scarves were atrocities.  Sorry, this is a higher level of ugh!

Despite the terrible costume, the stories really do matter more.  But so far the showrunners are doing everything they can to run me off

@Rouge, the scripts I have faith in, after watching Chris's work on Broadchurch I believe they might be some of the best of nu who...even the actors cast will be good actors... although Jodie as the doctor makes about as much sense as casting Clint Howard as Martha Stewart... You could give clint the job but why?!?.. he makes a great Deepspace 9 character...

Apparently Chris Chibnail came to the job with the intent of only casting a woman. When you come with that attitude, then you become Paul Feig with Ghostbusters. It becomes a gimmick to shock people with, which you try to hide behind labels of "progressiveness" and "social equality" that allow you to dismiss anyone who disagrees with you as misogynists or malcontents.

Had he actually auditioned male and female actors with a generic Who script, that might have lent some credibility to "I think Jodie Whitaker is best for the part" but he had an agenda and I fear that is going to become the focus of the show.
