its the same in who as well, im amazed at how many fake beards i can spot now that looked so real when i was a kid, just been watching seeds of doom as a fine example.

Space Vampire was my gave Buck Rogers episode, especially the music! GAWD was it Creepy! And I really liked the animation of the energy cocoon that enveloped the Vorvon before he gets wasted.

The other great thing about the Vorvon... still light years ahead of Anne Rice and Twilight junk

What was the deal with 2nd season Wilma's hair? Going brunette was fine, but pulling it back in a bun practically all the time? And that horrible quasi-military, semi-cruise ship staff outfit...

I hate to perpetuate an off-topic discussion in a thread, but I have to say that what whas done to Buck Rogers in it's second season was inexplicable and inexcusable. You take a top-rated show and mess with it by taking so many of the things that made it enjoyable in the first place. They leave Earth behind for a reverse BSG mission. Yawn. They leave behind on Earth Dr. Huer and Dr. Theopolis. Mel Blanc is not retained as the voice of Twiki. Ardala, Kane, and the Draconians are left behind. What do we get in return? Admiral Asimov - space idiot. Dr. Goodfellow. What was the point of him? Chrichton - snobby robot with no redeeming purpose. Hawk. Awful character who contributed nothing. Col. Wilma Deering reduced to space stewardess. What a way to ruin a show. I like to refer to season two as "Plot to Kill a Series."
