I bought some brass rod for the TV antenna Friday. I also need to watch the Blue Peter special again to make a sketch of the dashboard.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I still keep looking at it and can't believe how awesome Mark made the thing. It is so much fun to detail and paint.

Getting closer to being finished. Just need to do the windshield,headlights and a bit of touch up painting.

Sorry SeaDevil....Life of Brian I'm good at. The rest of Python seemed to slip me by. As my report card always said......must try harder!

I just added the windows to the roof. I think I may scratch build the boat version of the windscreen too. Also trying to figure out how to add some wheels to the hollow bottom.

While searching for some more pictures, I found this one of the real Whomobile still under construction.

Wow, The results are getting more interesting! I like the rear view shot and the numberplates. Chocolate easter eggs outer 'clear' packaging are usually good for curved windows used in model aircraft canopies, if that's any help. Look foward to the last stage.

It is a big flat window, so thin plastic works.

got the glass in the windscreen. And knocked out a couple of windshield wipers to be painted and added tomorrow. They are sitting on the front of the car.



I still need to find something for the headlights. My hobbyshop does not stock detail parts for cars anymore, so I will have to search online. Still trying to figure out what to do for the underside. I would like to have wheels of some type, but want it to still look like the bottom of a flying car.

Is it the same size as a Star Wars Landspeeder? Just wondering if some "tinkering" from the bottom of that could help with your current Whomobile undercarriage problem?
