Big Chief products

Glad I got mine ordered. Took me 40 minutes for the order to fully process. Just kept waiting and hoping the system didn't bomb out. Interesting that signature edition sold out in 30 minutes.

I broke down and ordered the regular edition. The price is more than I want to pay, but the figure looks really nice.

All nice, but all are too expensive for me to justify getting them,

I wanted him...but. I got the 11th Doctor for $171.00 shipped from a US retailer. The 10th Doctor from Big Chief would be $263.00 before shipping, and I'm guessing it will add another $40.00 or so on the price. I had to pass on him. I'll wait and see what the regular release is for him that they spoke about on the website. Maybe I'll get that one. Definitely want the 4th Doctor though.

Actually, the Doctor is really more like $223. The price for people outside the UK is £141 (because it doesn't include the VAT.) They are looking for some way to have local distribution (meaning they would send a shipment from China directly here and then have a 2nd party ship them to customers) so that the shipping won't be so bad. With some luck, I'm hoping he'll be around $250 or so when all is said and done. It's still a lot of money, but I pay that much for my Hot Toys Iron Man figures so I could justify it.

It seems like the version of him that might be coming in 2014 could be the blue suit version. Which, I do like. But the brown suit version is more iconic, so I didn't want to take the chance of not getting him.

This is the version you need to make a regen. 11th doctor.

That makes sense. Even so, it's still $75.00 more than the 11th Doctor. Tennant was one of my least favorite Doctor's but I would have gotten him for the collection. Having seen the red shoes earlier on, I'll have to settle for a blue suited 10th Doctor. I'm guessing there will be no coat as well.

I don't blame you. It is a significant chunk of money. I have a hard time nailing down a favorite Doctor these days. So I want them all! I kind of hope the rest of 10 sells out today. If 10 can't sell out a 1000 units quickly... it makes me nervous for the less popular Doctors.

I would love to see the 6th Doctors coat in that scale!

Hopefully Whona will be carrying the 10th Doctor as it is more costly to order directly from Big Chief and the item is HOT/ high in demand as it is brand new.

I can't afford the one from Big Chief right now, however, I would love it if WhoNa got an alternate one (someone suggested the Blue Suit version). I wonder if the Alternate one comes out without the Coat, if they would release the Coat in an *Accessories* pack, that was people could but that as well?

sad to hear this is only available on their site- let's hope that there is enough of a demand to make it more available.

There will be a general release but it will be a variant of this one.

Has anyone seen their sculpts for Sherlock and Watson? Superb.

I don't normally go for this scale, but I'm sorely tempted. Those head sculpts are perfect.

They are sculpted by the enormously talented Trevor Grove. I hope he gets to take a crack at some Doctor Who sculpts!
