| Doctor Who: Harvest of Time by Alastair Reynolds is fantastic! It's a perfect evocation of the Third Doctor era with a few choice allusions to later aspects. There's a scene where the Doctor & UNIT face off against mind-controlled Frieisian cows. Cartilagionous unicycles are one of the deadliest species in the universe. It's chock full of great moments for The Master. This may be the best book I've ever won in a raffle. The cover is rubbish though.
I couldn't find it in the WhoNA store so I don't know if it sold out or is on order. |
