I just read a post from my Torchwood group that thanks to the writers of the USA, we will be getting Sarah Jane Adventures in April on the Sci-Fi Channel!! And there is a possibility we may be getting Doctor Who sooner than expected also!!! As Gordon Gekko said in Wall Street, "Greed is good." Thank you writers.

My six year old loves this show! Which makes since as this is more diluted and geared for kids. If you bear that in mind they are not as horrible as you would think, they are just more tailor made. My son missed the title blurb of revenge of the slitheen but once he saw that the teachers were farting "Hey Dad I wonder if it's the slitheen 'cause they do that!" as the episode progressed and they appeared he proceeded to tell me over and over how he was right it was the slitheen!

Does anyone believe that the villian in "what ever happened to Sarah Jane" episode could make a cross over to DW? Maybe something to do with his hypothesized absence in upcoming season? He relished the idea of removing the Doctor to create large scale chaos.

I have to go on the record as saying that I really enjoyed this season of SJA. I've liked the show since it started (I'll admit that it's not for everyone, and that it helps that it doesn't come on at the same time of year as, oh, say, Torchwood), but this season it really seemed to gel. K-9's finally out of the box (though they're not letting the metal mutt be obnoxious enough to hog the whole series), no major personnel changes, and some surprisingly grown-up storytelling for what's supposedly a kids' show (The Wedding Of Sarah Jane dealt with some themes about temptation and sacrifice that were surprisingly strong stuff for an afternoon CBBC time slot). Overall, really good stuff. I hope it sticks around - at this stage, I'd be more bugged about SJA not returning than I would about Torchwood not returning.

I've been watching series 3 via online outlets and have enjoyed it quite a bit (especially the Wedding eppies). At least there is consistency on the show unlike with Torchwood where they seem compelled to kill off basically all of the original cast at this point (sorry not a big fan of Gwen, the only original character left sans Jack). Bring on series 4.
