Star Wars Black - 6'' Action Figure Range

Picked up Luke today! Great figure indeed!

The likeness could be better but it's not bad. My only complaint really is that the lightsaber is a very pale blue, hardly blue at all, like Obi-Wan's. I don't know why they didn't stick with the blue colour they used for the lightsaber that came with X-Wing Luke. Also the hilt is finished with a different paint this time; it's shinier and looks cheaper. Both the hilt and the blade are more bendy than before, too. Not to worry though, since X-Wing Luke never used his lightsaber (at least not in Episode 4 which that figure is based on), I'll just swap their lightsabers around.

But yes, besides that, great figure. I would recommend!

It's Empire Strikes Back Luke's outfit with ROTJ Luke's face. Or is that just a trick of the light?

I'm really not sure. I don't think the likeness represents either ESB or ROTJ very well. I'm alright with it though. It's not perfect, however it does look like him.

It's official that the SDCC exclusive is Jabba with Salacious Crumb & a hookah making the regular release without such crucial accessories pointless or disppointing depending upon whether you can get the SDCC version.

Well considering how expensive the SDCC Boba Fett was on the secondary market, I'd dread to think how much Jabba will be... So I guess that's no Salacious Crumb for me then. :/

Yeah, I'm annoyed. I probably won't even get Jabba unless I can get the SDCC one.

There's a Yoda on the way and it's based on Empire!! VERY excited for this one!!

I got my Jedi Robe from Ebay for my Star Wars figures. So great. It really completes Obi-Wan. I have the chocolate brown one on the way for Anakin and a black one that MIGHT work for Jedi Luke.

The next batch has been released for pre-order.

Jedi Luke, Sandtrooper #2, Vader and Chewie. Along with the Biker Scout w/bike and Jabba.

Roughly $20 each, $35 for the biker and $45 for Jabba.

Expected by August.

I snapped up everything but Jabba, which I'll try to get at SDCC.

I'm not loving their choices for release...3 Lukes, 3 Stormtroopers (4 if you include the Biker
scout), before we even get 3PO.

I'd rather have an Emperor (in his chair) long before a Jabba...

These figures look great!

C3PO, Bossk and Han as Stormtrooper are coming in October. Retailers will have the opportunity to buy solid cases along with solid cases of Fett and the Stormtrooper.

There is a special Han vs. Greedo 2 pack as well. Dunno why they decided to re-release 2 of the most common ones. Personally I think a repack of Fett w/ Vader would be cooler. They could call it 'no disintegrations' or something.

How's Vader in hand? He was the one I was looking forward to the most but photos have been disheartening; the mask/helmet looks off to me. Still pretty excited to pit him against Luke though, and I really can't wait to pair Han and Chewie together!

Wampa/Luke & Tauntaun/Han sets are coming.

Guess what arrived yesterday!

Modified him a little. The cape was bugging me so I snipped it off and tucked it under the neck. Although I loved the Anakin reveal the helmet was annoying me as it wouldn't stay on properly, so I glue it in place. And I also blacked out the eyes, too, as they don't look right when they're red. Looks much better now IMO and I'm really loving this figure!

The Disney Store has the Black Series on clearance! I got Greedo for $7.00! He's the best!

Very exciting! Wish I could afford them all, but I'll be glad just to have Stormie Han. It'll be cool to have Stormie Luke next to him eventually, too!

I think I will just focus on having the main gang: Luke, Han, Leia, Lando, Chewie, C-3PO, R2-D2, Ben, Darth Vader, some Stormies and maybe some Rebel Troopers too if they ever happen. I don't have room nor cash for anything else unfortunately.
