| Title to be confirmed. We haven't seen much of this from the very tiny teaser we got at the end of 'Angels Take Manhattan' but I'm sure we can start a bit of discussion. I'm looking forward to seeing Vastra again, but that Sontaran in the tux is laugh-worthy. Also, not keen on having yet ANOTHER Victorian era Christmas special. It'd be good to get a Christmas special where it's some sort of distant future Christmas on another planet that humans have colonised or something. Anything to spice it up a bit really. I'm a bit tired of London, Earth, Victorian era Christmas specials...

| That teaser was way too short... |

| I've learned not to really look forward to the Xmas specials. As if the regular eps for the most part aren't already more for the kiddos.
I do want to see Vastra again... maybe CO will catch a clue and actually make a figure for her. |

| What is the Doctor looking into? It looks a lot like the shots of him looking into Oswin's Dalek eye. Is he going back to save her? Is she a Dalek the entire time she travels with him, but thinks she's a girl? I figured he would know her BEFORE she becomes a Dalek, or that she's a different character, but that shot seemed pretty clear to me that she's quite possibly a Dalek. I just hope all the adventures aren't in her sort of cerebral holodeck world. Hmmmm...

Agreed. Last year's was rather meh. Last year's was as enjoyable as expired frozen butter on burnt toast. |

Agreed. Last year's was rather meh. Last year's was as enjoyable as expired frozen butter on burnt toast. "Hot, cold, and lemonade!" And everything else was meh... |

| Last year's special had some good ideas to it, but yeah it was a rather meh episode. I'm sorry, I don't care how desperate you are to save your children, a woman from the 40s should not be able to drive a advance futuristic vehicle that requires three pilots. |

| I'm hoping more focus on a good companion introduction first, less on the holiday stuff.

Gotta admit I still haven't watched last year's Xmas special. Just no interest whatsoever in it (will wait for the full series 7 package to watch it probably). This year's though, you got a new companion I'm revved for and Richard E. Grant. Two major positives. Hopefully the show won't center around the new companion as it did with Amy these last 2.5 years. |

| It could be set in the future on anostalgia planet since the new series doesn't like to design new costumes & cultures for humanoids. |

| Maybe we'll get lucky and we'll get a Victorian ancestor of Oswin and not a Dalek companion. |

| Yeah, after the Oswin tease I really want a Dalek companion that wanders around in a "Human" Flesh body while the Dalek chassis remains in the TARDIS.
The problem there becomes all problems thus become solvable when the Companion decides to EX-TERM-IN-ATE! |

Is that what she'll be or will she just be a Dalek that thinks she's human? Cause that'll get old real fast. |

The Eleventh Doctor without his bow tie?! I do like the Troughton-esque hat. A nice nod to the past while keeping with Smith's thing for different hats. I wonder why all of the sudden the Doctor feels like he should blend into his surroundings. |

| My guess? Wardrobe transition. We know for the second half of Series Seven, his outfit gets a major update so this is likely the facilitator of that. He dons period clothing and when he comes back, he's in the new outfit. |
