JMS has reported that Michael O'Hare, who played Jeffrey O'Hare on Babylon 5, has passed away. He suffered a heart attack on the 23rd, slipped into a coma and passed away yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Another Babylon 5 actor lost. I loved Sinclair. Especially his return.

Farewell Ranger One.

Farewell Valen.....

He has not died. He's simply gone back in time to fight the first Shadow War.

But in all seriousness, a sad day. Might have to put in the first season of B5 today in remembrance. I always thought he got the shaft on the show - Bruce was a phenomenal replacement, but during the major plot developments, Sheridan always felt like a pale imitation of Sinclair since Season One built so much up that paid off years later. For example, the glaring plot point of Sinclair's love interest and her fascination with Z'ha'dum only for Sheridan's wife to have been part of a research trip there.

Sigh.

I was afraid this was coming when a while back people started mentioning that O'Hare kinda dropped out of contact, and JMS apparently got in touch and only said that he was having problems and left it at that.

Definitely been a rough couple of years for Babylon 5 and DW Sad

Very sad to read this so late – I remember being shocked by the deaths of Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs several years ago. All of them created great characters in the series.
