Doctor Who Maxi-Bust Release Schedule - Big update 12/3

It's with a very heavy heart I must relate to you the update that no fan of these wants to hear. But this comes straight from the (very nice) people at Titan. This info should have filtered to the distributors and retailers, but doesn't seemed to have yet:

10th Doctor (Blue Suit / Brown Suit and Blue Shirt / Brown Suit and White Shirt Variants)*

Cyberman (Cyberman / Cyber Leader / Cyber Scout Variants)*
Weeping Angel.

Upcoming:

BY June 2014:
Cyber-Scout
Cyber-Leader (which debuted as a very limited NYCC 2012 piece)
9th Doctor
Gold Dalek (Day of the Daleks)
Gray Dalek (Genesis of the Daleks)

Cancelled:
The Master (Modern Series 3 Version)
1st Doctor
5th Doctor
6th Doctor
7th Doctor
8th Doctor
Leela


The Cyber Scout and Leader are now regular releases, not just variants. All classic Doctors (and Leela) have been cancelled. It's all down to lack of orders. None of these were as strong as the other busts. The constant pushing back of dates was actually giving time for retailers to order more, but the orders didn't come in. After the busts listed above as coming out by June are out, that's pretty much it for the Maxi-busts. They MAY do more Daleks and they might also do Capaldi, but it seems retailer interest just wasn't there for these.

It's very sad news not to have all the Doctors, but at least some of them are still coming and fans of the new series will have a relatively complete set with the 9th coming out. I really wanted that 8th Doctor bust though!

That one seems to come and go from the schedule. Not sure if they're actually going to do it.

Hope it's helpful guys! I had forgotten about The Master. I added him in with the First Doctor as "Unknown." I wonder if he is going to come out...

I updated the schedule a bit. I talked to a very nice person at Titan customer service and the Master has very much been cancelled. His solicitation was a mistake and he was never approved.

Maybe he hypnotized someone at Titan and made them solicit it.

Or a little in-scale Toclafane was hovering near their head.

That's a pity. I hope we might get either Delgado or Ainley instead.

Yup. Me, too. I'll get Tennant later. But not much later if at all possible...

I would love the Cyberman but alas, it will be something I cannot get.

There is rumour that the Weeping Angel might come in the following week but we will see ..... believe it when we get the shipping confirmation!

I've got an update on the Dalek Maxi-Bust!

The Dalek is coming out in 2013 now, and will be re-solicited worldwide later in the year. It sounds like they want to give people time to see how great the next three statues (Cyberman, 4th, 10th) turned out before releasing the Dalek for the 50th anniversary. He said the BBC really love the Dalek.

I'll add the Dalek to the list above.

I heard couple of other retailers already got their stock of Weeping Angels so I guess you'd be getting yours next week for sure.

Ordered the 4th Doctor maxi-bust from WHONA today - can't wait to get it!!

It seems like the 10th Doctor already sold out! I'm getting these gifted to me! Not sure where they are being ordered from. Can't wait for them to arrive.

There were only 2 of the 10th Doctor busts available when I ordered the 4th (6 of the 4th were available when I purchased mine). Hopefully I'll be able to track down a 10th in a couple of weeks.
