District 9!!!! I love the harshness of the story, and the theme of redemption that permeates the film. It is a sad, sad story, but nonetheless twinged with hope.

I enjoyed Avatar just for the pure escapism of it. Sure, we've seen the story before. But seeing it in 3d in the theater was an EVENT the way few films lately have been IMO.

Terminator films: ALL 4 of them.
Predator films: ALL 3 of them.
Alien films: 1-4.

NOT the AVP movies.

Also, Robocop 1-2.

Hanger 18, I think that's the title, is a good one, especially if you are into UFOlogy like myself.

Man, I haven't seen that in years! I slightly remember going to the theater to see that...Darren "Kolchak" McGavin was in it as well...it's actually in my Netflix queue to revisit.
