Thank you everyone who has contacted me, encouraging me to take pictures again.
However, to make sure I am pleasing everyone, I have taken this course with my pictures! No artistic style has been used whatsoever. I didn't even have the flash on. I didn't set the ISO or anything. I just pointed and shot. Sorry for the picture quality, but I realise, it's not about art and I get that now! So sorry for the mix-up earlier!
Enjoy! <3 ~ Thanks pixeltwin! See, I just hope that now maybe people won't find my pictures so offensive. ~ |

| Again, I didn't realise that people weren't interested in the storytelling ability these toys carry and that people here only want to see just how many toys everyone had up on static display. So, to not be offensive, I threw all my ponies on the floor, cleared away all the unnecessary toys, and just put up my DW toys. BUT OH I FORGOT!!! Sorry, sorry... some Primeval and Robin Hood toys are in there. I know they're not DW but please don't get angry at me I don't mean to offend... Again, sorry about quality. Light isn't too good you know. And again, sorry for the pony. They just wouldn't leave. I guess my art pictures really are like Drunken-Krillitane-with-Head-in-Toliet... Sorry, sorry... ~ |

| I have nothing against realistic toy photography, I never said I did, that was Ogron. I just don't like my little pony, mainly because of all the hype about it recently, It's a bit annoying in some corners of the internet.
I like realistic toy photography because each photo tells a story. |

| Applejack is also very good at telling stories with her MLP pics. I don't see any harm in the Pony pics personally, I actually enjoy seeing something other than just Who figures, but that's just me (though I'm sure others are in the same state of mind). As for realistic photography, I love pics like that as they do add life to the figures, and the lively feeling that these figures give off is what makes me keep coming back to buy more. |

| @Vortex -- What kind of camera do you use? The one in "Hello" was that all in-camera or done on the computer? Also, don't get me wrong, I was having a go at myself for my pictures because without flat-out mocking myself, I wouldn't have been able to get over what some people have said about my use of ponies and them being "artsy". Realistic photos are always a challenge because you have to try and get the proportions right and you've truly done a fine job with that. Your close-ups leave me a bit jealous because the lens on our camera is too big for shots like that and at this time I don't really have the means of getting a smaller lens for the camera. Also, your pictures done in low light are fantastic! You were using a tripod, weren't you? ~ |

| Thank you. It's a shame we came off at a wrong start because it clearly seems we both share a great passion. 1. It was all done in camera. 2. Yes I was. Love my tripod! |

1. It was all done in camera.
2. Yes I was. Love my tripod! Yes, it would seem so! I'll admit, that upon your post, I did actually think you were against artistic pictures even if you didn't say so directly. Then you posted your pictures, which is why I said that what you said made sense now. It's always refreshing to see another photographer who isn't relying on the special effects of PhotoShop to make pictures amazing! Not that I think it's bad, but when all you see on a photography contest is people who use photoshop winning over those who do it all in-camera, it does put you off on Photoshop. So now... what kind of camera do you use? Lens? I use my dad's Nikon D80 with a 135mm lens. Tripods are amazing, aren't they? I wish I had a heavier one though, because the one that I use came with a camera and it's so lightweight and flimsy that I have to weight it down to keep the camera from shaking. But it makes getting shots like this worth the frustration: I'd ask more camera questions but I can't jump to conclusions on them. Do you do other photography besides ones of toys? ~ |
