| So this has been bothering me for awhile now. My question is...
The SS can kinda of a control type for the TARDIS(i forgot when he said it but the doctors said it at some point in the last 6 years) so why when ever he gets trapped he can never just bring the TARDIS to him? At least if the SS couldn't do that you'd think after 900 years he would've made up some kind of contraption for getting the TARDIS to him with a remote control. |

| Not much of a show or story line if you just sonic yourself up a TARDIS all the time and dematerialize away now would it? Plus how would you fix the problem at hand? |

This. It would be boring if the Doctor was trapped and then just decided to bring the TARDIS with him. It would make for quite the anti-climax. |

| it reminds me of Star Trek, and how they always had to find ways to put the transporter out of action, or else the show would be over in 10 minutes. |

| And 6 was very jealous of that fact. Maybe because he was still working for the Timelords in secret during Season 6B.......so they gave it to him. |

| my favorite was in the end of time, when 10 used the sonic to hide the tardis (1 second out of sync). sure, it was just so the master couldn't get it in the episodes, but i thought that was a good trick, and they only used it that once. |
