| The inclusion of the Pertwee-era logo on the new packaging got me thinking about how great three of the franchises logos have been (Pertwee, Baker, and Baker/Davison/Baker). All three are classic and instantly recognizable.
And of course, as often happens with the internet, in my search for the 'tubes' logo to post in the Leela thread, I stumbled upon something wonderful: namely, a series of write-ups on the subject. If this is the sort of thing that interests you, you'll want to give them a read.
The posts cover the history of the Doctor Who logo over the course of the last 40+ years.
The 1960's
The 1970s
The Late 80's and 1990's
The Early to mid-Eighties
The 2000's
So which is YOUR favorite and why?

| Very interesting articles, reynolds. Thanks for posting them. I myself am somewhat biased, but I do love the Pertwee logo best. Like the article says, its "solid, dependable and energetic." So much so, it was also used for the 8th Doctor and most official classic products since. The diamond logo is rather iconic, I must admit, but not my personal favorite. It does kind of look "70's" whereas the Pertwee logo is timeless, like the Doctor himself... |

| I'd have to go with the diamond logo.
And it's not like I really like the opening sequence... but that logo just worked for me.
