A Doctor's Getting Married!

Oh no! My heart goes out to those broken ones upon hearing this news..... it is OK, there is still Matt Smith

And if you really think about it, the Doctor is marrying his "daughter" - own flesh and blood (she was made from his own genetic material). So is this technically termed as incest or.....

But seriously, I am happy for David Tennant and Georgia Moffet - they make a nice couple

It would be neat if he dressed as the doctor at the wedding and peterd dressed as the doctor as father of the bride. Instead of flowers- celery for all!

For those who find the Tennant/Moffett 13-year age difference "icky"...Fox's beau is nearly 20 years younger than she is. And let's not forget Hugh Hefner recently got engaged again...I have to admit, when I saw the file video of Hefner on TV, at first I thought it was an obit.

I hope Heff finds happiness. I mean really, it's got to be lonely where the man is. Surrounded by beautiful women whose sole interest in you is your money. To be fair, in his younger days the man was an arrogant jerk who broke off his first engagement because of being surrounded by beautiful women, so what goes around comes around.

That is true and I hope that the woman he's marrying loves him for him and not for his money and fame. That would be sad.

My guess is the marriage is more a business arrangement then anything else. As it stands, there's a lot of women poised to pounce on Heff's estate when he finally does pass on. This way, it keeps his estate and his company from being torn asunder after he's gone.

While that makes logical sense, it's kind of sad.

Even if it's a mutual understanding between them both that the marriage exists only to keep everything from falling apart, where does the love come in?

Am I the only one who finds that just slightly, sad?

I think it is more than sad, but at least David and Georgia don't have that issue! But it does seam wild that now David will be the son-in-law of his favorite Doctor!!

Hugh does have his daughter, Christie, who ran Enterprises for years, and he does have 3 sons. Presumably they are the principal heirs, and presumably before anyone says "I do" there will be a pre-nup to that effect.

In any event, I hope Hugh & Crystal are happy & wish them well.

BTW, Hugh & Georgia are 9th cousins once removed.

Hardly his first marriage.
