I think I heard once that Moffat wants to bring back the Mondas Cybermen. While I concede that you could very well be right, I'm still gonna hold out hope for good, old fashioned Mondan or Telosian cybermen. But that doesn't mean I'm going to hold my breath until they turn up. |

| I'm hoping that if they bring the classic Cybermen back, they do a redesign. Otherwise, what's the point? |

A re-design, sure, but maybe one sans the "C" on their chests, something just enough different to distinguish from Cybus Industries while at the same time evocative of something maybe ca The Invasion, Revenge or even Earthshock/Attack, &c. At least the lineage back to those cybies, perhaps a war between each universe's cybermen (or maybe that's getting too close to the Dalek ethnic cleansing theme). |

| I, being an old old who fan would like to see the classic cyberman...just not the tenth planet version.
I did feel that moffat helped bring back the real nighmarish creepiness of the cyberman- with his underhenge cyberman....ooh now that was pretty scary. Mind you- it was the new design- but he added a better layer of creepiness to the cyberman ... Really it is about the writing...the underlying golden rule of doctor who is to scare the willies out of you-

| Very interesting. - Spoiler:
If I read this right, we would not be getting rid of the Cybusmen, they would just be used by Classic Telos/Mondas Cybermen who are officers. And they would be an entirely new design.

| With all of these Davros figures, I would love to see him brought back with the new Daleks trying to capture him, and he, actually going to the Doctor for help! |

I always figured that as Astrid from Voyage of the Damned. After all, Astrid is an anagram of TARDIS. |

| I would love if they did an episode of what davros was before he got all mummified and crispy. Why have they never made a davros pre crazy take over the world? I'd like that prediction to come true some day.... |

| It'd be nice to go a full season without any Daleks or Cybermen (apparently not this one). They're not cool if overused. There's plenty ofclassic aliens that could use a revamp like the Nimon and Fendahl. It's mostly untapped territory that writers and FX crew could go wild with. I like a mix of classic obscure creatures and brand new ones. |

there were flashbacks written for the Stolen Earth finale from series four and werent filmed. A real lost opportunity in my opinion. |

If you can handle listening to audios then check the I, Davros series. It's a 4-part story that covers from his time as a child right up to moments before Genesis of the Daleks starts. And it's awesome. I'd love to see Davros back (as long as Moffat doesn't redesign him). And I think there's a chance we will. Big Finish was using him but were told to stop once he came back on TV. Same with the Master. Now Big Finish apparently have permission to use the Master again (so he won't be back on TV soon). But not Davros. Meaning either he's popping up on TV again or BF are keeping his audio return a surprise, which I doubt since him being in an audio would drive up the sales. We'll see I guess. - Evil Monkey Pope wrote:

After seeing what Moffat did to the Silurians and the Daleks, I'd prefer he left the Classic monsters alone. I've no interest in seeing multicolored Axons or humanized Tractators. He should stick to making new, lame enemies like the Smilers or invisible chickens. Gosh, that came off a bit harsh, eh? Oh well. |

| Whoosier- they really were going to put pre baked davros?...what a shame. I would have prefered this to the this is your life doctor... companion fest.
Anyway...ooh thanks rdks...I will check out this audio- a rarely stray from the non doctor episodes but I'll give this a try.
As for Moffat hopefully he will not bring back fifi from the hapiness patrol....she will live again! Noooooooooooooooooooo. |

| A Pre-Baked Davros would be a wonderful direction to take the character. Explore a side of him possibly before he became a raving racial supremacist. |

| Evil monkey pope- fifi was the best...happy happy happy.
Rust-I think the backstory of davros is that he worked at a department of motor vehicles on skaro...got disgrunted with people, then became what he is today.... |

| So, it's been clarified that there will be no revivals of classic monsters. So, that's how we've seen evidence of Ood and Sontarans in Series 6 and yet they're not lying about no returning Classic monsters. |

| Spoilers! - Spoiler:
From Twttier - "@swanseagundog: Great day today. They’ve been filming for Dr Who at work so lots of cybermen around and also got to meet Karen Gillan who plays the Dr’s assistant Amy Pond. What a lovely person, signed autographs and chatted. Didn’t get to meet Arthur Darvill who plays here on screen partner Rory Williams as he was busy with the cybermen."
I'm going to hazard a guess that these are Cybusmen, not the rumoured redesigned Cybs. The poster doesn't indicate these Cybermen look any different.
This was filming for episode 7, which now seems to feature Cybusmen, a Sontaran, and the Clerics from Time of Angels. It's being filmed at the same power station from Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel.

I'm guessing the Clerics will have something to do with River Song, I think Episode 7 is the reveal. And, Sontarans and Cybermen? When I saw the pic of the Sontaran, I was happy they were getting another full story, but now Cybermen with them? Unsure about how I feel about this.
