Rory: I watched over you for two thousand years!
Amy: Yes, but what have you done for me lately?

| The ' "boy who waited" card' is brilliant, but the rest makes her sound like a helpless, promiscuous, whiny person . . . which she is NOT |

I dunno, trying to get your freak on with another man on the night before your wedding would count as promiscuous in my book. Course, that might be because I've been cheated on twice, so I tend to frown on that sort of thing. |

I'm sorry you were cheated on . . maybe you are right about her, it's just that I like her so much that I don't really care or can say much bad things about her. Well, one thing we can certainly agree on is that she is SO not helpless. |

| Overall, I like Amy as a companion. I just question her "moral fiber", you might call it. Especially when she wanted the Doctor to kiss her after returning to the normal universe. I think she and Rory will be fine together, but still. Strikes me Rory's gonna have to watch his wife like a hawk. |

| Well I certainly hope not. Rory's been the best male companion outside Captain Jack we've gotten since the relaunch. Yeah, he lets Amy push him around, but by the end of the season he'd found his feet and was even willing to stand up to the Doctor (Something no other male companion has been able to do).
Personally, I'd rather see both Rory and Amy stick around for awhile yet. I still miss Donna though. No emotional baggage to sort through with her, she was just a friend.
Like the old joke goes, a true friend will bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting in the cell beside you.
Rory and Amy strikes me as "true friends". Donna (And from the Classic series Jamie and Sarah Jane) were the kind that would be sitting in the cell with the Doctor. |
