| Yes, that is a problem, lol. I also think of Craig begining his career as 007 under the same M we had for the last few movies. There was another "hint" in a movie that made me think of this, but it totally escapes me now. |

| Any "hints" are just tongue in cheek "Acknowledge the Fourth Wall" gags.
James Bond is just a suave secret agent working for Great Britain.
He may also be a Time Lord. |

| I was reading this weeks "Entertainment Weekly" as it had an article about the fate of James Bond in it. It's really sad actually because they said in the article that they should have begun filming already for the newest Bond film, but instead the studio has been converted and is being prepped for filming to begin on the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Further more, MGM is up for sale and no one has even made an offer yet to buy out the film company. They say that if no one buys MGM and the rights to James Bond, it may be the end of Bond altogether. It's really sad because I was looking forward to seeing Daniel Craig in another Bond movie.
Of course, since MGM is up for sale, it also means The Hobbit is on hold until someone else picks that up too. But that is another topic. |

| After talking Bond with CA and Ron yesterday, I had to watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service last night. Still my all-time favorite Bond. I still get all amped up during the opening theme and credits, thrilled by the fast-paced action and brutal fight sequences, awed at the majestic locations in the Alps, and teary-eyed at the end. Fantastic movie. |

| It is funny you found this old thread. With production on SKYFALL underway. Strange to see the doom and gloom of the bankruptcy stories. |

| Daniel Craig is an excellent bond, glad he is back, and it looks like we will get a seriously bad ass Villain in Javier Bardem. |

I agree, hopefully SkyFall will be good; seems to have the right ingredients...guess we'll have to wait and see. |

| I like Roger Moore's bond best. Nobody wears it better when it comes to Safari suits and 'Alan Whicker' suits! Yep 'Moonraker' is my favourite. I never get bored watching any that are repeated endless times. I don't think any of the Bond films suck either! I also adore listening to the soundtracks, especially 'Live And Let Die' and 'Q's Trick' from 'Diamonds'. |

| Hey at least they got Connery back for 'Diamonds' and he's definitely a superior Bond. But Lazenby's stunt work was excellent but he didn't appeal as Bond to me. |

| I'd say I liked Connery best as Bond, but my favorite Bond movie is Goldeneye. Odd, but there it is. |

| I await with guarded optimism... QoS was a bit of a letdown after Royale.
At least we are also rumored to get the final half of the 007 films on blu ray (tying into Skyfall's release of course). |

| I am hoping for a complete Blu ray set in some sort of special package. Then, I will do the switch at one time! I just watched Solace a few days ago, and as Guv said, I also enjoy it more every time. Some what the reverse of Moonraker, which I like less every time.
I hope Skyfall is another amazing Bond movie, basically since I like Craig in the role, and the producer has said he would love him to be the longest running Bond, and Craig said he would continue as long as he can do the role physically. |

I like Craig as Bond too. HOWEVER...I do not want him to continue in the role to where he looks like Roger Moore did in A View To A Kill - sorry, but he was too old to be Bond in that flick; he should have ended his run with Octopussy (a much better movie than AVTAK in my opinion which would have been a better swan song for Moore).
Which is pretty much what Craig has said. He would not go that far! I hope!!! AVTAK was too far. I wish he had stopped at For Your Eyes Only. I enjoyed that one the most of his final few movies. |

| I gotta admit, as a guy who up to this point has not been a fan of Craig's Bond, I really enjoyed this one a lot. I think it's his best one yet. The last few minutes really got me psyched up for the next one. |

Spectre
from the BBC report...
Spectre will be the title of the 24th official James Bond film, its makers have announced.
Director Sam Mendes revealed the title at a launch event at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where principal photography is due to begin on Monday.
Daniel Craig will play 007 for the fourth time in the film, to be released in the UK on 23 October 2015.
Other cast members were also announced at Thursday's event, which was beamed around the world.
They include Sherlock's Andrew Scott, as a Whitehall-based character called Denbigh, and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista, playing a henchman called Mr Hinx.
Italian actress Monica Bellucci and France's Lea Seydoux have been unveiled as the new 'Bond girls', named Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively.
As previously reported, double Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will have a role in the film, playing a character called Oberhauser.
The name of the character is the same as that of Bond's former ski instructor, though it has been rumoured Waltz will really be playing Bond's old nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Returning cast members Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q) and Rory Kinnear (Tanner) were also announced.
The 007 production will be based at Pinewood Studios and on location in London, Mexico City, Rome and Tangier and Erfoud, in Morocco. |
