| Well, season 5 of Lost is now on, and I gotta say, I love the time-travel stuff. This has been absolutely fantastic.
Lost has been successful in maintaining its epic genre-crossing qualities, while still retaining its place as a true sci fi experience. It really makes me look forward to what JJ Abrams produces with the new reimagined Star Trek movie. |

| From what I have seen......
He needs to stay LOST! That trek movie is going to sink like the Titanic!! Sooner or later, people make a dog and this one is a freakin' ALSATION!!
Saying that, I have enjoyed all of his other productions. Cloverfield scared the crap out of me, and I was watching that online!
I am glad for the recap episodes each week, it has helped me to figure out what is going on. I kinda watch it to be entertained, not get ahead of the storyline. |

| Lost... is a sci-fi show? And here I thought it was just a bunch of people fighting for resources on an island or finding a way off it. |

| i like lost, but almost nothing else he has done. i am dreading the star trek remake(worse than some people hate the 96 who tv movie). he had a good property with mission impossible 3, and look what he produced with that? i think the thing with lost is that he turned it over to some talented writers and producers. even though jj came up with it, he let other people make it better over time. sort of the opposite of heroes, where the creator, tim kring, is running it into the ground worse than any version of the titanic we've seen(max capricorn, would have done less damage to heroes). |

| Alias is good too.
Both Lost and Alias have a Twilight Zone feel to them.
MI3 was okay, but I'm not a fan of TC, so it didn't do much for me.
I'm hoping for a surprise with Trek. |

| While I do love Lost and the time travel stuff is making me enjoy the show on a whole new level... Fringe is slowly becoming a show I'm enjoying even more! |

And Walter is sooo cool! I wish he was on Doctor Who, maybe as The Doctors grandfather! HAHAAHAHA |

| Fringe is on Fox on Thursdays at 9/8c http://www.fox.com/fringe/ First season was really well done, IMO, and is definitely worth getting hands on and watching. As usual, I recommend the pilot or premier or whatever your lingo for the starting point show is. The premise is that unexplained phenomenon or strange science related things keep occurring. An FBI agent enlists the aid of a mentally unstable scientist and his guardian son to explain and unravel these mysteries. Joshua Jackson does a great job in this as the son who has a shady, spy style past, and John Noble who plays the eccentric, former drug using mad scientist plays it well. **ole H.W. beat me to it

| Not a requirement, just a recommendation. You can jump in and catch up. I'm just an odd ball who always thinks it makes more sense to start from the beginning. That and I usually recommend pilots because they tend to give a good snapshot of how a series will go, or at least how it was intended to go. |

| I started Lost this fall, and just finished up. Wow, so much going on. I tried watching it once before, but started about the 4th episode and was more lost than the passengers of Oceanic 815, so I quit. Made much more sense starting from the beginning (Thanks Netflix Instant View!). |

He can pre-empt American Idol if he wants to piss people off and not get re-elected. Even George Bush knew better than to even THINK about pre-empting popuular tv shows. |

| LOST really is thought-provoking in its brilliance.
Anyone wonder about the true identities of "Jacob" and his counterpart? I keep wondering if the one in black is Sutekh (or Set) and Jacob is Horus...
I mean, you notice all the Egyptian symbols on the temple and the towering statue appears to be Anubis.

| I'm watching Season 5 on blu-ray (got the Dharma Inititive Orientation Kit) to get refreshed before 6 starts. It's a bit different this time, knowing what I know about Locke. |

| Started watching Lost again and I loved tonight's show. I have the feeling that the reason we're seeing two universes right now has something to do with the people on the island making a deal with the Locke monster. I think he basically reset the clocks. |

| the battlelines are drawn. the armies are building. who will win? how will they win?? will someone sacrifice themselves to win like captain sisko did in the last episode of deep space nine? that was brilliant. |

| It's funny that you mention Sisko because when I saw the baseball in tonight's Lost I remembered Sisko's fondness for the sport. I loved when he he left it behind on the station to let the Cardassians know that he would be back one way or another. |

| I think in Season 6, you are REALLY seeing the similarities between LOST and Stephen King's "The Stand." Only LOST is turning out to be MUCH better. |
