Time Agency?

It's about time we heard more about the Time Agency and its agents. Maybe Moffat will do something with them since he resurrected the concept from Talons of Weng Chiang for his Jack introduction? Torchwood would be a fine place too. Maybe they could do a flashback episode where Harkness and Hart chase Magnus Greel and Mr. Sin before he escapes to the 19th century? We still don't know why the Time Agency erased Jack's memories. What's the Time Agency's stance on Time Lords and vice versa?

I'd be up for this. I had forgotten that they mentioned the time agency in Talons, seems I need to revisit that story.

You know, I had forgotten too. I saw Talons once about 15 years ago. Damn... now I need to add it to my "must buy" list.

I'm not a huge fan of giving everybody the power to travel through time. Anyone but the Time Lords having it should be a big deal and a human agency full of Jacks and Harts really undermines the "specialness" of the Doctor for me.

I understand what they were doing with Jack, but I hope they don't go too much farther with it.

It would be nice to have a bit more background on the Time Agency. While it was mentioned in DW, I don't recall it ever coming up in Torchwood (other than Caption John popping up) which is odd considering it is part of Jack's past.

I want to know what the Time Agency actually does.

Not sure, but it comes off as being something akin to the time agency in the Jean Claude Van Damme movie "Timecop". In "the doctor dances" Jack reveals that the chula ship was a con to attract the time agency. I got the impression from this that they investigated temporal anomalies, artifacts in the wrong place, etc, which is how Jack has such an extensive knowledge of alien artifacts in Torchwood. In any case the agency is now defunct. In episode 1 of Torchwood series 2 when Hart and Jack are in the bar "catching up" Jack asks how the agency is, to which Hart replies "it was shut down...there are only 7 of us left now."
