Another "plotless" episode. Nothing really happened, did it?

Why did the Doctor should the honour guard, what purpose did it serve other than to warn us that the Doctor could regenerate as a black woman? And what did that Karn-woman have to do with anything at all? Why was she there?

And all that pomp with the reputation of The Doctor being a warrior to fear, especially when he is unarmed...whatever! And why was Rassilon dead-set on killing him? And why is Rassilon alive? Didn't he get trapped in The Five Doctors? And why did we have to endure Clara leaving again?!?

And why has technology not advanced in 4 BILLION YEARS on Gallifrey?!?!!? Their time capsules are still the same ones from when the Doctor left? Sheesh! We don't even use the same phone from 5 years ago!

And that was the TARDIS set from An Adventure In Space And Time right?

There's no reason to ask why because Moffat has the answer to every darn question there is.Clara is THE ONLY answer.

The show has nothing to do with Time Travel,Space Adventure,Time Lords,Aliens,or anything that made Doctor Who the cool,great show it used to be.

As soon as Moffat took over,the show became all about the darn companions of an arrogant Doctor who thinks he is the only moral force in the Universe.He acts as if he is above us all because he is written to be and has no equal ever.PURE SHITE!

I swear the ending was like the Doctor was dying instead and it would have been a perfect end to Moffat's crap fest.

I loved seeing the Hartnell Tardis make a return. Also that new Sonic Screwdriver is amazing

Ok so I missed the last 5 minutes of the episode and just saw it on rerun.

So Clara becomes the Doctor and Me her companion?What a bad ending to a bad season.

I did like the final scene with the Doctor alone in the Tardis and the new sonic looked pretty sweet.

But honestly what's left to explore in this incarnation of Who that won't seem like rehashed leftovers?

Other than becoming the Valeyard I don't see anything of value left.

I don't need him to regenerate into a woman or have a different ethnicity to propel the story forward in some weird comic take like the Mr Bean Doctor Who Special(which was great BTW)

So let's call it done with season 10 and restart the whole franchise from the beginning for the 70th Anniversary after a huge Doctor Movie or 2

Don't know what to say about the finale. It was a letdown because it went back to being focused on Clara and the whole concept of the Time Lords having been responsible for his 'cage' last week so they can learn about the hybrid was deplorable. That's the thanks he gets for rewriting his own history and saving his race from distinction. Why was the Karn woman there - she added nothing to the story. Why did they have to bring up the fact that the Doctor was part human (which he did not deny) - one of the many things that went wrong with the 8th Doctor pilot.

How was it that Clara and Ash/me (who I can't stand) are able to fly a TARDIS when none of his other companions could.

My DVR cuts off at an hour since the guide must have updated at the last from from the original hour slot to the longer one. Watched the remainder this morning. The bright spot was the last scene with the Doctor back in the TARDIS and having the new sonic. The preview for the Christmas special looks pretty good actually.

One final note, PLEASE bring on a companion that doesn't hog the limelight as both Amy and Clara have. This was never the case for Classic Who or RTD's era.

Yeah about the whole Doctor being half human thing.Remember that the Neurothingy that he grabbed to erase Clara's memory was for a human brain so either the Doctor is lying to CLARA about forgetting her or Moffat's bs continues.
I like the idea of the Doctor lying to Clara instead and pretending to forget her,like he's just as sick of her as the rest of us

I beg to differ Rose hogged the limelight during Series 1 and 2 before she got killed.

I loved it, and this season in general. I liked the reverse Donna Noble conclusion. Will Ash Me and zombie Clara run into Jenny or Captain Jack?

I adored the finale. What a great end to one of the best seasons in recent memory. I was legitimately choked up here and there (which I did not do in Face the Raven) and I thought the ending was so exciting.

Loved the episode. Right up until the last few minutes, which is why I had to only give it a 'Good'.

I don't care that the other TARDIS is a diner... with the subject matter, I actually am rationalizing it to myself as an homage to Douglas Adams and his contributions to Who as a 'Restaurant at the End of the Universe'

But the idea of Clara cheating death after completely resigning to it, then whipping off for an undetermined series of adventures with Me... with access to a TARDIS... ug. I mean, I feel and hope we never see them again as I think their stories should be over, but just the idea that two immortal non-Time Lords are whizzing about seeking out adventures just doesn't sit well with me for some reason.

Nice that Clara finally got a happy ending.  Sad that she got stuck with precocious little Me.  Please keep them both out of the show from this point forward.  Flying soda shop with two non-Timelords?  Makes Timelords seem a lot less special if just anyone can learn how to pilot a TARDIS.

Am I allowed to say the new blue sonic looks even more like a toy?  Simple, sleek and silver would have been a bit nicer.  The twirling lights aren't bad, but the rest seems a bit overdone.  Especially the spring loaded launcher in the console.

Nice twist that it was the Doctor who forgets the companion, that they got to use the Hartnell console from "An Adventure in Time and Space", and most of the "gallifreyan" writing has returned to the Seal of Rassilon.  Having the Hartnell console used in this way doesn't make much sense, but nice to see it anyway.  Missed the old staser sound effect and cool plexiglass design; the new guns seem so generic.

Rassilon was a bit of a pushover.  The founder of all Timelord society and culture is kicked out in an afternoon?  "All powerful Doctor" never sits too well and this episode had a bit too much of it.  Not even sure where this leaves Gallifrey at the end and how the Timelords will interact with the Doctor moving forward.  They're back, but hiding and are leaderless?  And it sounds like Susan is now the president's daughter, but obviously not Rassilon's daughter since he was assumed dead until The Five Doctors.

So good on the ending of the whole Doctor/Clara thing, but the rest of the episode needed some help.

Was thinking... if they just removed one little scene it would be a *lot* better.

-The diner dematerializes... the Doctor is left standing in the middle of the desert highway and sees his TARDIS.
-[cut the scene with Me and Clara in their TARDIS]
-The Doctor inspects the exterior of his TARDIS in a mixture of disbelief and great affection before opening the doors.
