Dalek Stealth Ships.

CO / UT have released a security ship with a Black & Silver livery, I myself am not overly keen on the Red Dome and the Silver Neck Mesh nor am I overly fond of the top heavy Cannon.



So in the spirit of "If you don't like it, change it" here is my "Stealth Ship" with its pilot.





I am considering leaving the Dome Black or paint it the same Dark Red as the Hemi's



I shall be replacing the Cannon with the eyestalk on the Left which is an Eyestalk from a Dalek Bubble bath container and a Dish from a 5 inch Dalek.

The next stealth ship will be one of the Hoverbouts.

Have another Patrol Ship on order which will be painted in the Classic Silver/Blue livery and it will go alongside these 2



At the moment I am customising 2 of my 4 Hoverbouts, one will be in a Red/Silver livery and the other will be in a stealth Black/Silver/Blue livery like the pilot.



If I can get enough (Cheap) hoverbouts I may be able to do a colour scheme for each "Invasion" Dalek.

New paints have arrived so I can continue with the first 2 Hoverbouts.
I have blanked of with "Maskol" the areas I want to stay Silver and shall spray 1 Black and 1 Red




Once sprayed I shall peel off the "Maskol" and on the underside I shall paint the circular pieces in Metallic Red and Blue.

I have sprayed 1 Hoverbout in Red and have removed the "Maskol", I have learnt a lesson here, the "Maskol" needs to be put on thicker or more coats. Matt paint flakes when you remove the "Maskol" so therefore there are a lot of areas that need touching up,




there is room for a lot of improvement but it should all come right in the end.

Have managed to tidy up the paint work, and will do the underside once I'm out of my sickbed.

Now have 5 of the "Hoverbouts" so 4 will be painted in the livery of the 4 Invasion Daleks and 1 will be left in its original colour scheme.
If I get another 1 then it will become my Stealth Hoverbout.

After making a complete pigs ear out of the Silver Bout, the Black and the Gold have started out quite well



as with the Red the highlighted section will be in the same colour as the pilots Hemi's.

Had to put another coat on the Gold as all the colouring looks lopsided.



will do the highlighting sections some time over this coming week.

A test fit to make sure I have not clogged up any holes.



The pilots seem happy as well.

First coat of highlighting done, not overly impressed with the Black on Gold but its only the first coat



Second coat tomorrow, then I can concentrate on the underside.

Sadly the bloke in the model shop seems to have sold me a pot of chrome Silver instead of the Silver
I asked for, will get some proper Silver over the weekend hopefully.

Well here we are again, done the lower sections and did my 4th Hoverbout with the tin of Silver I found in my box.

Have decided to muss up the Silver & Blue because as a drone he would be first "Into the thick of it"

I now have six of these Hoverbouts


I have the new stealth Hoverbout that came with the "Into the Dalek" playset, I may even paint a Dalek in the "Stealth Patrol ship" pilot, I would however like another 2 Hoverbout's So I can put some Black detail on 1 for the Black domed Emperors Guard and the other I would paint in a metallic Blue & Silver for the Eternity circle Dalek.

On another note I would like to make one on the left for the one on the right.
