I haven't seen what you're referring to, but isn't it Dalek Sec? He did a temporal shift before the void could suck him in.

I saw the cover of the new radio times, kinda creppy. Although, I am not the biggest of Dalek fans, I hope this yearly return of them isnt at the expense of other ideas.
