Best doctor who episode?

Dr Who magazine has voted caves of androzani the best episode of Doctor Who ever, but I thought the episode was crap, My favorite episode has to be Remembrance of the Daleks, What's yours?

I will just make it classic (TV) episodes. My favorites so far are Inferno, Genesis of the Daleks, City of Death, Remembrance of the Daleks, The Daleks, and Earthshock.

does it have to be from the classic series? Cause I haven't seen any. If not I'll say The Eleventh Hour.

There isn't one. But I can definitely name the best program.... Doctor Who!

The apotheosis of Doctor Who can't be beaten. It has it's highs and it's lows and I definitely have my favourites and episodes I despise, but is that not why we love it? Because sometimes it's hideous, and other times it's amazing?

I think that when Doctor Who is at it's real lowest it's bad but when it's at it's highest, which it is 95% of the time, it is absolutely brilliant, fantastic, molto benne, TRÈS bien!

I've been thinking about it, and I can't pick just one.

Dalek Invasion of Earth, Dalek Masterplan, The Invasion, The Three Doctors, Genesis of the Daleks, and The Pirate Planet are my favourites.

Though it feels wrong not to mention the other 206 episodes, other than Series 5 or Season 26.

Since people are listing more than one, here are my other favorites-

Tomb of Cybermen, Invasion, Seeds of Death, Inferno, Daemons, Pyramids of Mars, Seeds of Doom, Talons of WC, Horror of Fang Rock, Stones of Blood, Visitation, Remembrance of Daleks, Battlefield, and Curse of Fenric

New series- overall fav- Girl in the Fireplace. Others- Empty Child/ Doc Dances, Blink, Midnight, Pandorica Opens/ Big Bang

Audios- overall fav- Creatures of Beauty. Others- Spare Parts, Bloodtide, The One Doctor, Juggernauts, Pirates, Live 34, Night Thoughts

Terror of the Zygons has a nice atmosphere and the Zygons led by Broton were a very good monster.

But it is tough to pick just one. I would show this story to people who are new to the show.

I really feel Genesis of the Daleks is a true masterpiece of televised story telling.

Back when the daleks were ACTUALLY scary.

Seriously, they were terrifying in "The Daleks". Compare that to "Victory of the Daleks" and it's shocking how silly they've become.

Yeah, but the big reason why I said The Daleks was because I think it's the serial that really set the standard for Doctor Who. We had monsters that want you dead, and traveling through time AND space. (In the first story, they just traveled through time, maybe or maybe not space.) And while there are evil aliens out there, there are also good aliens. (Yes, the Thals were the first humanoid alien, aside from the Doctor.)

Also, there's the Doctor tampering with the TARDIS just so they can explore. It plays with the idea that maybe he's not completely a good guy. That's one thing that happened very quickly, the Doctor's just nice. Even if he's keeping secrets, it's all for the good of someone. Maybe Moffat tried to bring some of that back with Amy saying she can't completely trust 11 because he doesn't always tell the truth, but still, we're a long way from that.

City of Death is another good one for people. Great opening, Lalla and Tom on top form, a great villain, and time travel, oh and the chickens!

Why do you think I mentioned 'chickens'? It was a reference to lower life forms, haha. I did like Duggan, adn Dudley's music. Of course there is a joke made in the first episode that seems to have a punchline in the fourth.
