Okay, just saw it and it has my attention. Looking forward to more.

However, I don't get Starz... I saw episode one on Audience, who appears to only be showing episode one.

I liked it. It tied it up into a new knot. Even mentioned the 456. I was pleased and will continue watching.

it was good. hoping they can keep a cohesive storyline like they did with children of earth, and not stray into twin peaks land like the killing did.

I loved it. Hope it stays as good for the remaining 9 episodes. That bomb victim was really creepy! And Gwen is so sexy with a baby in one hand and a weapon in the other hand!

Looks like Miracle Day won't be available on dvd in the US until next year. Sigh.

I thought the first episode was a good -- not great -- start... but with this week's ep we're back to the same horrible Torchwood I always knew. Random, needless sexual comments; pointless violence and visual gags; gross incompetence on the parts of the major players; and, oh yes, Eve Myles shrieking for no good reason. Ugh.

I guess maybe you're right: we weren't watching the same show.......'cause there wasn't any needless sexual stuff or pointless violence...but most of all, I thought the players were very competent. No, extremely competent. And the orange tube bit? Come on, you didn't find that funny at all? It was hilarious!
To me, personally, this show is honestly my favorite of the Whoniverse. (But what do I know?...I'm actually one of those rare people who likes Moffat...)

Agreed on all counts.

When Torchwood first came out, it was for me the superior show to Nu Who. 2nd season was even better, and CoE took things to a whole other plane of existence.

2 eps into Miracle Day, and I am still impressed. Jack Gwen and Rhys haven't missed a beat in two years. So far, neither has the storytelling.

So nice to watch these eps and right after think NEED MOOOOOOOOOOORE. Must get to next Friday...
