5th Doctor Costume

I have been putting together a 5th Doctor costume. I have a jacket and the cricket sweater so far. the shirt in the picture is just a button down temp for now. I have a panama hat, but need a red band for it.

Looking Good RP, now you gotta get a red cricket ball and bat also.

wow! where did you get the sweater? and how did you do the jacket? i have a buddy whose wanted to do the costume for a while but don't know where to get suck items.

The sweater came from a group buy organized by a guy on Gallifrey Base. He said it is his last one. He is doing one for the 7th Doctor's "?" mark sweater and I am on that list. Also, from that forum, I was lead to a store that sells a cheap woman's riding jacket that is an almost perfect match for the 5th Doctor's coat! I have to switch the buttons still to the male side, and touch up the trim. The hard thing will be those striped pants. Google 5th Doctor cosplay, and you will get tons of info on doing costumes.

i actually play in a band with a guy who bought a pair of sleeping pants that he wears on stage that look almost exactly like them. so you can find them in the weirdest places.

Yep, lounge pants. Seen those and they are mentioned on the cosplay site as a possibility. Still looking at options.

Actually, got my celery today! I have added leaves and just need to re-paint a bit of it!

Well, here is my costume in its almost finished form. Still need to add the celery. The pants are just plain khaki for now. I will upgrade for the next time, since this was a bit of a rushed job.

You look like Peter just found out Tom was going to be in The Five Doctors after all.

OK, after not doing anything for a long time, I made my pants for my 5th Doctor costume. Also got the correct fabric for the hat band and a cricket ball!!

LOL, i found the blank somewhere online and added the picture and name. I did a Liz Shaw too. Need to do Jo,Sarah and the Brig too! I sign them after I print them out,then use laminating plastic on them.
