I really miss sets of generic blocks that can be used for anything. Kids have no imagination these days.....sigh. Oh, Amen to that. But to be fair, it's not the kids fault that everything is handed to them pre-done. But they have brought out builder sets that are more like the good ole days. |

| Using a left over Delgado body and an Ainley head and some Green Stuff, plastic for the tails and little drops of super glue gel for the buttons. I gave up waiting for an Ainley Master in his proper costume. |

That is my custom that uses a Jacobi head on a body I had for a custom Delgado. I put the custom Delgado head on a repainted Timelord body to be an original Master from Gallifrey. I was trying to save my work from the first custom after Delgado came out. |

Almost!! I am lucky I had a lighting kit from years ago that I never used for the 22in Cutaway model. Saved me another $150+. |

| I love this part of the kit. All of the windows come in 3 different choices. White, clear of black. You can use any combination you wish to light every window, none or make it look like the filming model. |

| And it is modeled in color,so it can be built without painting. (Not that I will do this!) |

| These are really generous shots of a rare kit, Ronpur! Love the artwork of the box and the cat! Seems easy to build, i haven't built a kit straight from the box in ages! Any given thoughts about the version you're going for? |

| It is going to be the production version, representing the ship seen in most episodes. The shuttle hanger will be open with the Galileo poised for flight. \
The circuit board is assembled and I next need to wire the LEDs to test it. Once it passes the test, I will start construction. My Vacation starts next week and I plan to use a bit of that for construction! |

| I think those two extra spikes are for the optional, 'The Cage' ,nacelles. I see the nacelle end hub caps have the spherical caps removed, for lighting perhaps? Does it come with the 'Pilot' flat panelled caps too? |

Does it come with the 'Pilot' flat panelled caps too? The nacelle endcap balls are modeled in a different color. And the parts for the Cage version (Nacelle caps, bridge, main sensor) are in an add-on kit you can buy. As is an electronic kit that has motors to spin the nacelle lights. I have a different lighting kit that uses LEDs to simulate rotating fans. There is also an add-on set of decals for weathering the ship! I just bought the basic kit and none of the add ons. |

| Having put together a different Enterprise model kit, I have always wondered...has anyone come up with a way to get the nacelle supports to mount evenly? Mine were constantly doing the splits while waiting for the model glue to dry and they always seemed quick to come unglued...very frustrating. |
