I haven't been too interested in the "Time Lord Victorious" lineup prior to this. But with animated Daleks I'm suddenly more interested to see what's going on. It's all a scheme to help license holders sell products during the break between seasons and I don't normally collect all these different forms of media. I listen to a bit of Big Finish, but not so much into buying the books/comics and attending live events the UK.
But this animated series seems like just the thing to get me interested! Hopefully the story contained will be fairly self-contained and not require too much knowledge of the rest of tie-in. "The Daleks are having trouble on Skaro" seems like the condensed summary. How much more would you need to know to enjoy Daleks getting into hi-jinks around home?
