...So Harry, What's your professional Judgement of Infinity War? Have you an overall rating or is the Jury of opinion not out yet? Would you say that it Rules? Would it be out of order for a review or tidbit of Supreme insight... waiting on an answer, balls in your Court...love the new Avatar by the way:) |

Would it be out of order for a review or tidbit of Supreme insight... waiting on an answer, balls in your Court...love the new Avatar by the way:) I had to put Harry up there. Night Court was my favorite 80s sitcom. It annoyed me that Cheers got all its seasons on DVD without any trouble, but for Night Court it was a struggle just to get the first 3 seasons out... and if it wasn't for WB starting its MOD program, the rest of the series would have never seen the light of day. Was so sad when I saw he passed away. I know Larroquette won all the Emmys, but Judge Harry was why I loved the show. And yes, Infinity War ruled in an epic way. Instantly jumped up to #1 of my MCU film rankings. Some supreme court insight (and Hidden just in case some might consider these spoilers): - Spoiler:
I compare Infinity War to Logan. Remember how in the opening scene they basically showed the viewer... this isn't your PG 13 Wolvie anymore? Or how about watching the animated Transformers movie vs the regular tv series?
I felt the same way with Infinity War. The music that is played over the Marvel Studios montage clip is not the regular music, it is way more subdued... so right off the bat it's different, and you know once they finish their open that dealing with Loki and Ultron was a far cry from where this movie is going.
And I did catch myself more than once during the film thinking- you see DC, you CAN make a more serious and darker film, but still keep some lighter moments and stay true to your characters and the material.
I loved the big fight set pieces. There was more than one that I felt topped the Battle of NY piece where the camera rolls and tracks from Avenger to Avenger in one continuous take, and the airport fight from Civil War.
My other recommendation would be... if you have the means, see it in IMAX. I didn't realize that they filmed the ENTIRE film in IMAX (first for any theatrical film) and it looks SO PRETTY on screen.
Court adjourned. Now go see the movie!!! Then wait a year for the conclusion |

| @Cruel Angel, Going to see Infinity War tomorrow! Can't wait... Just viewed the new,"The Predator" trailer and it looks GREAT! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT! minus the connection to AVP. Hopefully Black has just salvaged some Predator Tech that was cool from the crossover and that's it. WATCHED INFINITY WAR! IT WAS GREAT! Really wasn't expecting that at all, I only ran into one Spoiler cause some goof Journalist wrote a Doctor Who article and posted one of the Characters with a headline about how Infinity War used David Tennant's line about how he didn't want to go when he died and attributed it to a dieing marvel character... I wish I could Sue her as I didn't want the reveal spoiled, but what do you do? |

| Maze Runner... First one was intriguing... second one was mehhh...3rd one.... I want my money back, no really, I want a refund. I should have known after that ending on the original that I was going to dislike the rest. Hunger Games was surprisingly good and divergent was an immediate turd... Didn't bother after the first one. |

| The Shining, exquisite Cinematography that really deserves a 4k scan and rerelease. $5.00 Blu-ray at Walmart. Had about 20 rereleased Blu-rays for $5.00 a piece. |

I felt out of place at first since it was off for a year but at the end of Episode 6 I'm back in the swing of it.
